IF WE ALLOW THE WORD OF GOD TO SHAPE OUR THOUGHTS, IT WILL ALSO SHAPE OUR LIFE.

 AS THE HOLY SPIRIT MOVES ON GOD'S WORD,  HE DOES A TRANSFORMING WORK IN US.

ISAIAH 40:8

THE GRASS WITHERS, AND THE FLOWER FADES. BUT THE WORD OF THE GOD STANDS FOREVER.


PROVERBS 4:11-13

I HAVE TAUGHT YOU IN THE WAY OF WISDOM; I HAVE LED YOU IN RIGHT PATHS.

WHEN YOU WALK YOUR STEPS WILL NOT BE HINDERED.  WHEN YOU RUN YOU WILL NOT STUMBLE.

TAKE FIRM HOLD OF INSTRUCTION, DO NOT LET HER GO; KEEP HER, FOR SHE IS YOUR LIFE.

BELOVED, AS YOU FEED YOUR MIND IN THE WORD OF GOD, YOU WILL FIND YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS, PLACE THEM IN THE HOLY SPIRITS HANDS, HE WILL HELP YOU TO HAVE SELF-CONTROL.

WE WILL LOOK AND SOUND MORE AND MORE LIKE JESUS.

TRUE WISDOM ONLY COMES FROM GOD.  THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD WILL COME TO NOTHING.

1 CORINTHIANS 3:19

FOR THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD IS FOOLISHNESS WITH GOD.  FOR IT IS WRITTEN, HE CATCHES THE WISE IN THEIR OWN CRAFTINESS.


COLOSSIANS 2:2-3

THAT THEIR HEARTS MAY BE ENCOURAGED, BEING KNIT TOGETHER IN LOVE, AND ATTAINING TO THE RICHES OF FULL ASSURANCE OF UNDERSTANDING, TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MYSTERY OF GOD, BOTH OF FATHER AND OF CHRIST, IN WHOM ARE HIDDEN ALL THE TREASURES OF WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE.

BELOVED, MAKE A SPECIAL TIME SET ASIDE FOR THE STUDY OF GOD'S WORD.  

IT WILL SHAPE YOUR THOUGHTS AND YOU WILL SEE A GREAT DIFFERENCE IN THE WORDS YOU SPEAK.

WHATEVER WE SPEAK FROM OUR MOUTH, SHOULD BE EDIFYING, BUILDING UP, NOT TEARING DOWN. HELPFUL NOT HURTFUL.

YES THERE IS A TIME TO CONFRONT SOMEONE THAT YOU SEE HEADING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION, BUT YOU CAN BE FIRM, YET KIND.

CAST OFF THOSE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS THAT OUR ENEMY PLACES IN OUR MIND. 

IF IT DOESN'T MEASURE TO GOD'S WORD AND GOD'S WISDOM, DO NOT RECEIVE IT.

CHECK EVERYTHING WITH THE WORD OF GOD.

BE A BEREAN, CHECK TO SEE IF THOSE THINGS ARE TRUE. 

WE, AS GOD'S CHILDREN NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHAT WE ALLOW INTO OUR MIND. 

IT WILL EFFECT OUR LIFE, EITHER FOR GOOD OR BAD. 

GUARD YOUR THOUGHTS, AND ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT IF THERE IS SOMETHING YOU NEED TO REPENT OF. 

SOMETHING YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT.

HE IS OUR TEACHER AND WILL GLADLY SHARE THE WISDOM OF GOD.

BELOVED, WE HAVE SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR. 

THANK GOD, FOR JESUS AND HIS SACRIFICE, THAT HIM FOR HIS WORD, 

THANK HIM FOR HIS LOVE AND CARE FOR HIS CHILDREN, THANK HIM FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND THE FAMILY OF GOD.

WHEN WE HAVE A THANKFUL HEART IT BRINGS JOY INTO OUR LIFE.

EVERYDAY IS THANKSGIVING DAY TO THOSE OF US WHO LOVE JESUS.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS VERY THING AND I AM REMINDED HOW POWERFUL GODS WORD IS, ACTIVE, EFFECTIVE CUTTING NG BETWEEN BONE AND MARROW, THANKYOU MAMA JOY I NEED THE WORD SO BADLY TO HELP CONTROL MY THOUGHTS. I PRAISE YEHOVAH FOR YOU! I PRAY MY MIND AND THOUGHTS AND TONGUE WILL LINE UP WITH THE WORD AND ENCOURAGE AND BUILD UP BUT BE ABLE TO CONFRONT WISELY.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!!  YOU ARE NOT TO COMMAND HIM,  YOU ARE TO ASK HIM, HONOR HIM, AND RESPECT HIM AND HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.  I have heard some believers young in their faith and understanding, say that they have prayed for such a thing and God will give it to them.
