WHAT DOES THE WORD OF GOD MEAN TO US. DO WE KNOW HOW POWERFUL AND NECESSARY IT IS TO OUR LIFE.

WHEN WE START OUR DAY, OUR FIRST PRIORITY SHOULD BE GOD'S WORD IF WE ARE A BELIEVER AND FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST.

 JOHN 1:14
IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD AND THE WORD WAS GOD.
HE WAS IN THE BEGINNING WITH GOD.

 ALL THINGS WERE MADE THROUGH HIM, AND WITHOUT HIM NOTHING WAS MADE THAT WAS MADE.
IN HIM WAS LIFE, AND THE LIFE WAS THE LIGHT OF MEN.

 HEBREWS 4:12
FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS LIVING AND POWERFUL, 
AND SHARPER THAN ANY TWO -EDGED SWORD, PIERCING EVEN TO THE DIVISION OF SOUL AND SPIRIT, 
AND JOINTS AND MARROW,  AND IS A DISCERNER OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART.

 AND THERE IS NO CREATURE HIDDEN FROM HIS SIGHT, BUT ALL THINGS ARE NAKED AND OPEN TO THE EYES OF HIM TO WHOM WE MUST GIVE ACCOUNT.

 BELOVED, THE WORD OF GOD IS FAR MORE THAN TYPED WORDS ON A PAGE. 
IT IS LIFE, IT GOES ALL THE WAY TO OUR MARROW IN OUR BONES.

 THAT IS WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT WHEN PRAYING FOR HEALING FOR OUR BODY OR SOMEONE ELSE'S BODY, TO PRAY THE WORD OF GOD.

 JESUS, ON THE ROAD TO EMMAUS MADE IT CLEAR HOW IMPORTANT HIS WORD IS.
(READ THE WHOLE MESSAGE STARTING AT LUKE 24:24-35)

 LUKE 24:25-27
THEN HE SAID TO THEM, "O FOOLISH ONES, AND SLOW OF HEART TO BELIEVE IN ALL  THAT THE PROPHETS HAVE SPOKE!
"OUGHT NOT THE CHRIST TO HAVE SUFFERED THESE THINGS AND ENTER INTO HIS GLORY?"

 AND BEGINNING AT MOSES AND ALL THE PROPHETS, HE EXPOUNDED TO THEM IN ALL THE SCRIPTURES THE THINGS CONCERNING HIMSELF.

 I FOUND IT INTERESTING THAT JESUS DIDN'T JUST SAY, HEY GUYS ITS ME, 
NO INSTEAD HE TOOK THEM THROUGH THE SCRIPTURES BECAUSE THE SCRIPTURES CARRY POWER, ESPECIALLY WHEN SPOKEN BY GOD HIMSELF.

  WHEN HE ATE WITH THEM, AND BROKE THE BREAD AND HANDED IT TO THEM,THEN THEIR EYES WERE OPENED. 
THEN THEY KNEW IT WAS JESUS AFTER HIS RESURRECTION.

 BELOVED, IF JESUS USED HIS WORD TO REMIND THEM OF THINGS IN THE SCRIPTURES, WE CERTAINLY SHOULD BE REMINDING OURSELVES OF THINGS THE LORD HAS SAID TO US IN HIS WORD DAILY.

 DON'T JUST READ GOD'S WORD, STUDY IT AND SEE HOW OTHER SCRIPTURES COMPARE WITH WHAT YOU ARE READING.

 IF YOU ARE NEW  IN THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST
START READING OUT LOUD THE BOOK OF JOHN.

 IF YOU HAVE NEVER RECEIVED JESUS AS YOUR LORD, TODAY WOULD BE THE PERFECT DAY TO START YOUR NEW LIFE IN JESUS.

 ONCE YOU SEE IN THE SCRIPTURES HOW MUCH JESUS LOVES YOU, HOW HE TOOK YOUR PLACE ON THE CROSS,
 IT WILL BE AN EASY DECISION TO ACCEPT HIS OFFER OF SALVATION, WHERE YOU ENTER A NEW COVENANT WITH HIM. 

 LET HIM MAKE ALL THINGS NEW IN YOUR LIFE.

 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17
THEREFORE, IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATION; OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY; BEHOLD, ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW.

 BELIEVE IT AND RECEIVE IT.

 HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY IN THE LORD, AND KEEP YOUR FOCUS ON ALL THE GOOD THINGS OF GOD, FILL YOURSELF UP WITH THE WORD OF GOD.

 JOHN 6:63
"IT IS THE SPIRIT WHO GIVES LIFE; THE WORDS I SPEAK TO YOU ARE SPIRIT, AND THEY ARE LIFE.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!!  YOU ARE NOT TO COMMAND HIM,  YOU ARE TO ASK HIM, HONOR HIM, AND RESPECT HIM AND HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.  I have heard some believers young in their faith and understanding, say that they have prayed for such a thing and God will give it to them. They are trusting in their faith, not their faith in God. (Works of the flesh, which is witchcraft) Witchcraft is attempting to manipulate your environment or circumstances.
