FEELING AN OBLIGATION TO REPAY GOD, THAT'S AN IMPOSSIBLE TASK.

ARE WE TRYING TO REPAY GOD FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR US?  THAT'S AN INSULT AND AN IMPOSSIBLE TASK.

 HE ASKS US TO LOVE HIM, NOT REPAY HIM.

 PEOPLE ARE STILL TRYING TO MAKE BROWNIE POINTS WITH THE LORD BY ALL THEIR GOOD WORKS.

 GOOD WORKS ARE JUST THAT, THEY ARE AN OVERFLOW OF OUR LOVE FOR GOD AND PEOPLE.

 BUT THEY DO NOT IMPRESS GOD.  HE IS HAPPY THAT WE WANT TO HELP PEOPLE, AS THAT REVEALS HIS SONS NATURE.  

 BUT JESUS WANTS US TO FEEL FREE, NOT OBLIGATED TO REPAY HIM WITH OUR WORKS.
WE WANT TO SERVE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD, ONLY BECAUSE WE LOVE THE LORD.

 IF WE LOVE GOD WITH ALL OUR HEART, WE WILL WANT TO SPEND TIME WITH HIM TELLING HIM SO.

 JESUS SAID THERE ARE TWO COMMANDMENTS,
MATTHEW 22:37-39
JESUS SAID TO THEM,  'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND." THIS IS THE FIRST COMMANDMENT, AND THE SECOND IS LIKE IT; YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."
ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.

 WHAT I SEE HERE; IS THAT WHEN WE LOVE THE LORD OUR GOD WITH ALL OUR HEART, SOUL AND MIND,
ALL OUR EMOTIONS IN OUR SOUL, WILL BE ENGAGED TO LOVE AND WORSHIP GOD. 

 FROM OUR SOUL WHERE OUR WILL IS, IS OBEYING GOD'S WILL, AND THAT IS TO WORSHIP HIM.  
GOD WANTED A FAMILY, SO HE CREATED MANKIND, BOTH MALE AND FEMALE. 

 HE PLACED HIS DNA IN THEM. ADAM AND EVE.

 TO LOVE GOD WITH ALL OUR MIND, THAT MEANS OUR MIND IS ALWAYS ON THE LORD, FIRST AND FOREMOST.

 IN ORDER TO KEEP YOUR MIND ON THE LORD FIRST, WE MUST REALLY LOVE JESUS.

 DON'T INSULT THE LORD BY TRYING TO PAY HIM BACK, THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO.  
ALL HE WANTS FROM YOU IS, YOUR LOVE AND WORSHIP. MAKE IT PERSONAL.

 THAT'S WHAT WE WERE CREATED FOR IS TO WORSHIP GOD.

 I HEAR PEOPLE SAY I AM JUST NOT DOING ENOUGH FOR THE LORD.

 THEY WEAR THEM SELVES OUT WITH DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES THAT THEIR FLESHLY MIND TOLD THEM TO DO, AND IT IS TAKING A TOLL ON THEIR BODIES, AND THEIR MIND AND CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS.

 TRYING TO WEAR TOO MANY HATS WILL GIVE YOU A BIG HEAD.

 BELOVED, GOD IS A GREAT GIVER, HE LOVES TO GIVE TO HIS CHILDREN, REST AND PEACE IN THEIR SOUL.  

 MATTHEW 11:28-30
"COME TO ME, ALL YOU WHO LABOR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN, I WILL GIVE YOU REST.
TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU AND LEARN FROM ME, FOR I AM GENTLE AND LOWLY IN HEART, AND YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.
"FOR MY YOKE IS EASY AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT."

 GOD WANTS HIS CHILDREN TO ENJOY THEIR LIFE IN HIM.  HE MENTIONS REST FOR YOUR SOUL OVER AND OVER.

 DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU ARE TO BE SO BUSY THAT YOU MISS THE GREAT PRESENCE OF THE LORD?

 RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES CAN WEAR YOU OUT, BECAUSE YOU ARE TRYING TO PLEASE MAN AND NOT GOD.  
YES, WE HAVE MINISTRIES TO HELP OTHERS, BUT GOD WANTS US TO REST IN HIM AS WE HELP OTHERS. NOT TO  FEEL OBLIGATED, BUT BLESSED TO HELP, AN OVERFLOW OF HIS LOVE.

 TOO MANY MINISTERS ARE WEARING THEMSELVES OUT, TRYING TO PLEASE PEOPLE.
HUMMM.  
THAT COULD BE ROOTED IN PRIDE, (OVER ESTIMATING OURSELVES, AND UNDER ESTIMATING OTHERS) AND THEY JUST DON'T KNOW IT OR RECOGNIZE IT, UNTIL THEY BECOME ILL OR IRRITABLE OR JUST PLAIN WORE OUT.

 BELOVED, ENJOY YOUR LORD AND PEOPLE IN THE LORD, BUT MAKE CERTAIN YOU ARE RESTING IN JESUS, AND PUTTING HIM FIRST.

 YOU MUST LEARN TO SAY NO, AND MOVE ON WITHOUT LETTING THE ENEMY PLACE GUILT ON YOU.

 I KNOW MY LIMITATIONS, AND WHEN I AM GETTING TIRED, I BACK OFF, THERE IS A WORD, CALLED NO. NOT ON MY PLATE IT IS FULL.

 GOD IS NOT LIMITED TO YOU! LIKE ELIJAH THOUGHT HE WAS.

 IF YOU SPEND TIME AT JESUS FEET IN WORSHIP AND SHOWING HIM YOUR LOVE,
YOUR WHOLE BODY WILL RESPOND TO THAT REST, YOU WILL BE HEALTHY, HAPPY AND AT PEACE.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!!  YOU ARE NOT TO COMMAND HIM,  YOU ARE TO ASK HIM, HONOR HIM, AND RESPECT HIM AND HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.  I have heard some believers young in their faith and understanding, say that they have prayed for such a thing and God will give it to them. They are trusting in their faith, not their faith in God. (Works of the flesh, which is witchcraft) Witchcraft is attempting to manipulate your environment or circumstances. (SELF) Works of the flesh. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
