THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE OF JESUS AND LESS OF ME, THAT'S HOW A TRANSFORMED LIFE OUGHT TO BE.
WHEN WE ARE TRANSFORMED, THAT MEANS THAT WE ARE CHANGED, OUR CONDITION, AND NATURE HAS BECOME LIKE JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.
WE CAN ONLY BE TRANSFORMED BY RENEWING OUR MIND IN THE WORD OF GOD.
THE WORLD WANTS US TO CONFORM TO THEIR WAYS, AND USE THEIR TACTICS, BUT WE KNOW THAT AS GOD'S CHILDREN WE ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD ANY LONGER.
WE WERE ONCE SINNERS SAVED BY GRACE, NOW WE ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST.
WE ARE BEING CHANGED DAY BY DAY.
OUR SPIRIT IS PERFECT, BUT OUR SOUL AND BODY STILL NEED CHANGING.
2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Moses had to cover his face because of the glory of God fading from him. While he was on the mountain with the Lord, he had the glory of God all over his face.
When we spend time in the Lord's presence we also have the glory of God on our face.
The glory of God that is on us believers will never fade away.
Because it is Jesus inside of us. It is His glory that reflects in us and through us.
The beauty of walking with Jesus is that we no longer want to sin.
Will we sin (miss the mark of perfection) yes, but we no longer want to.
When we sin it grieves our spirit.
1 John 2: 1-2
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin.
And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
An advocate is like a lawyer, Jesus says Father, I have paid for this with My blood. Case dismissed!
Remember beloved, Jesus has already paid for all our sins, past, present and future.
If we choose to continue in sin, then there will be consequences.
Yes, we have forgiveness and restoration, however if we rebel against God's word, He will take us to the woodshed.
There will be disciple, chastisement, because God loves us too much to leave us to ourselves.
Hebrews 12:6
For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives.
Beloved, let there be more of Jesus and less of you.
As we die to ourselves, we become more and more like Jesus. We are changed from glory to glory.
We start out as a worm, but later are transformed into a beautiful butterfly. Get the picture?
When we are being transformed there is a lot of activity, and movement in our life, transformation is a work in progress.
We go through trials and then see victory.
Each trial that we come through, we become a little more like Jesus.
Growth has taken place in our heart and actions and especially in our thoughts.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
For our weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts its self against the knowledge of God,
bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
Praise God that He loves us too much to leave us as He found us.
We are being worked on daily by the Holy Spirit, our comforter, teacher and friend and counselor.
God is patient with us, merciful and loving, as we should be with others.
Just like Jesus!
God Bless your day
