STOP LOOKING UP AND START LOOKING AROUND YOU, TIME IS SHORT.

REMEMBER WHEN THE DISCIPLES SAW JESUS ASCEND.  
AND THE ANGELS QUESTIONED THE DISCIPLES, WHY DO YOU STAND GAZING UP INTO HEAVEN?

 THIS SAME JESUS, WHO WAS TAKEN UP INTO HEAVEN WILL COME AGAIN IN LIKE MANNER.

 We are to be about our Father's business. Stop looking up and start looking around us to see who needs to know Jesus?

 After the disciples heard the words of the angels, they then went to Jerusalem and waited for the promise Jesus told them that they would receive.

 Acts 1:8
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

 Please notice, it was to start in Jerusalem first. To those who held onto their religion. 

 The religious crowd first, in other words, Go home first and share about Me.

 Jesus wanted to correct their misconception and adjust their thinking about the Kingdom of God.

 First it is spiritual, then He wanted them to know that it is international in its members, and that it will grow and expand to the ends of the earth.

 Luke 19:13 (The parable of the kingdom)
A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for Himself a kingdom and to return.
"So he called ten servants, and delivered to them ten minas, ( a mina was in weight a pound in money) and said to them, do business until I come.

 Beloved, read the entire parable and see if the Lord speaks to you through this parable.

 God has given us talents and gifts to use for His glory, are you using yours?

 Jesus expects us to be about our Father's business and to use our talents and gifts to multiply His kingdom.
The Lord is expecting to see a multiplication of what He has given to us.
This parable speaks loud and clear about God's kingdom.

 Starting with the gifts of sharing the gospel, that is in all of us. Because the Holy Spirit is in us, wooing others to Jesus, through our life and words and actions.

 Salvation is a free gift, but as with any gift you must receive it. That's how salvation works. 

 When you receive it  you have received God's grace to operate in your life. God's unmerited favor in all you do for His kingdom.

 BELIEVE AND RECEIVE!

 Jesus is coming soon, we see all the signs that He told us about. Be prepared to share about His love and salvation. 
He will direct your path to who He is trying to reach around you.

 So beloved, stop just looking up, and start looking around you.

 We are to be watchful, and Jesus did say, when you see all these things happening , look up your redemption draws near, but we are to occupy until He comes.

 We can watch for His return as we reach out to others. It is such a joy to our heart to know that Jesus is using us to further His kingdom.

 His kingdom come, my kingdom must go!

This is my prayer...to trust God to show me the gifts and talents He gave me to use for His kingdom. I also pray He will show us where He wants us to be doing His work.

WHEN INDIFFERENCE ENDS, THAT IS WHEN LOVE BEGINS.

  Don't look for love to come to you, instead, look  where you can give it. Galatians 5:13 For you brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. If you have been buried with Christ in baptism and raised in new life, then stop looking at the old you. Give the love that you always wanted to experience before you met Jesus. That unconditional love. If you noticed while reading the gospels that Jesus went out of His way to show the Fathers love, to provide what real love looks like. Sinners flocked to hear the good news of the gospel. They felt the love. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us. God's word is a light unto our path.  Psalms 119:104-105 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
