WHY DO WE PRAY FOR GOD TO CHANGE OUR SITUATION? WHEN IT WAS HE WHO PLACED US THERE.

WE PRAY, LORD CHANGE MY SITUATION, WHEN ALL ALONG IT WAS GOD WHO PLACED THAT THING IN YOUR LIFE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

WE ALL WANT TO GET OUT OF THE PLACE  WHERE WE ARE UNCOMFORTABLE. THAT OUR HUMAN NATURE.

IT TAKES US BEING UNCOMFORTABLE FOR THE LORD TO MOVE US ON INTO A GREATER PLACE OF FRUITFULNESS.

Like that little eaglet in its nest is comfortable and peaceful.
When all of the sudden the mother eagle begins to take the nest apart.

She first will take out that wonderful feather bed of down feathers.
She goes down to the uncomfortable leaves.

Then she removes the leaves, and gets down to the thorny branches.
By this time the eaglet is starting to panic, it hurts to be on the thorny bed.
Mother always brought the food and fed them, now no food, a thorny bed, what is going on?

Finally she pushes the little eaglet out of the nest, it tumbles and falls from high up, but mother eagle swoops down and picks it back up and places it safely on a rock. (We have been placed safely on THE ROCK!

This process continues until the eaglet learns to fly, and find its own food. Mother always near to make certain the eaglet learns to fly and hunt.

Many of us Christians are the same, we get too comfortable where we are in our growth in the Lord, become complacent, satisfied with the status quo, or as I have heard them say, "I just go with the flow"

So God has to take our nest apart so that we will grow and learn to trust Him at all times.

We must learn how to get our own food supply from the word of God! No more spoon feeding.

Like the eaglet who was placed on a rock, after several times of his mother pushing him off the rock and recovering him, he now trust her enough to leave the rock and try his wings. Woohoo!

When we feel so pressured and cannot see a way out, that is when we have to depend on the Lord, we suspect that God is up to something. After all He is Lord!

Isaiah 55:6
Seek the Lord while He may be found.  Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts;  Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God
For He will abundantly pardon.

Do you find that you are wondering what on earth is happening in my life right now?

Well I know in my own life, God is doing a deeper work, and He has nothing planned but good for me.

It seems lonely and empty at times, family far away, friends busy.
This is the time I have no one but God to depend on, speak to and worship and praise.

The same is true of you.

Sometimes the Lord closes all doors of fellowship from others, so that He can get our full attention.
(The wilderness experience, where we hear the voice of God clearly)

He is teaching us to depend on Him for our happiness and comfort and wisdom, and our spiritual food from God's word.

So be careful how your pray,  are you trying to remove the very thing God is using to bring you to a deeper place of fellowship with Him.

God will complete that which He has started and will bring you to maturity, our spiritual growth is a big issue with the Lord.

We are to be like Jesus.

Psalm 16:11
You show me the path of life;  In Your presence is fullness of joy;  At Your right hand are pleasures forever.

Beloved, when you are praying from a heart of gratitude to the Lord, ask Him, "Lord is this your doing, or am I under attack?

JESUS, WILL LET YOU KNOW, BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU SO MUCH.

Ephesians 4:31
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

God will show you, if you have opened a door to the enemy, or if it The Lord who is shaking your world.

All the enemy can do is lie to you, if you believe him, hes got you, only if you don't recognize his tactics.

But if you know it is God, you are in the place of promotion, blessing and growth.

PRAISE THE LORD!

God bless your day
Jesus loves you

Joy

This reminded me of what I was reading last night from Philippians 3. Paul was encouraging them to press on, becoming mature in Christ, not looking back but ahead. This time alone can allow us to draw closer to God, making us stronger for the days to come.
