ARE YOU AWARE OF THE AUTHORITY AND POWER YOU HAVE IN CHRIST JESUS.
DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POWER AND AUTHORITY?
WE HAVE ALL POWER IN JESUS NAME, AND IN THE WORD OF GOD.
WE HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO USE JESUS NAME,
IF WE HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN OF GOD'S SPIRIT,
WHEN WE USE THE WORD OF GOD, ITS SPEAKS TO ANY GIVEN SITUATION, IT CARRIES POWER.
Satan lost his authority at the cross of Christ, he still has power, if we give it to him, but he has no authority any longer, Jesus took that from him, when He said, it is finished.
When Jesus took back what was ours before Adams sin. Adam, gave the authority he had over to Satan.
In the temptation of Christ in the wilderness, Satan told Jesus, I will give you all kingdoms if you will worship me. ( Matthew 4:1-11)
At that point before the cross, Satan had that authority, after the cross he lost it.
He can only attack our mind, body, not our spirit, and try to convince us of his lies, deceptions.
Jesus redeemed us back to the Father.
1 Peter 1:18-19
knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot.
There are not many Christians that understand the authority that Jesus provided for us by His sacrifice.
The power that we are to use for the kingdom of God, and in our own life.
Demons are not subject to power, they are subject to the authority we have in Jesus name, power will back that authority.
When we submit to God's authority, power is released in our life, it is to be used to further the kingdom of God, heal bodies and give peace to our mind.
Mark 6:7
And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.
Beloved, you do not need a minister to pray for you, although it is nice when they can, what you need is to realize who you are in Jesus and what He has given to you.
Use the authority in the name of Jesus and you will see God's power released, that is, if you have submitted yourself to God.
Matthew 18:19
"Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
Don't be a Christian that allows the enemy to walk all over you, placing fear, doubt, in your heart about the faithfulness of God. Don't allow the enemy to put false symptoms in your body.
Have you ever gone to a Dr. told him your symptoms and he found nothing? I have.
Years ago I was singing in church and I felt a lump in my throat. I went to the Dr. and He scoped my throat, and said nothing was there. He had me look at the screen.
He told me I was the second woman that came to him with the same complaint, and she also sang in church.
Did that open my eyes.
Jesus did say, whatsoever you believe you will have it. I have since learned to not accept every symptom of sickness or pain, I pray, apply the word of God, it usually goes. If it does not leave, I will see a doctor.
Stand firm in the authority in Christ Jesus that you have inherited.
Use the word of God and the name of Jesus, you have that authority in Christ.
When I counsel, I do not use the worlds methods, I use the word of God and prayer and a listening ear. You can learn much just by listening.
Only the word of God carries the power to change someone.
As the Holy Spirit moves on that word in a heart, there is change, freedom is realized and peace fills their heart.
Beloved, use the authority and power Jesus has given you.
Be firm but kind, stand for the truth of God's word and show compassion and love to those that are hurting.
Put yourself in their place.
You have the authority of the Lord and you have the word of God, use it!
