WHEN THE CHURCH IS LUKE WARM, IT BECOMES INEFFECTIVE IN ITS INFLUENCE IN THE WORLD.

WE HAVE SEEN THIS PROBLEM FOR YEARS, WHERE THE CHURCH LOOKED SO MUCH LIKE THE WORLD AND ITS WAY OF DOING THINGS, THAT OUR WITNESS FELL ON DEAD EARS.

 PEOPLE COULDN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WORLD AND THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST.

 AMOS 8:11
"BEHOLD, THE DAYS ARE COMING."  SAYS THE THE LORD GOD, THAT I WILL SEND A FAMINE ON THE LAND, NOT A FAMINE OF BREAD, NOR OF THIRST FOR WATER, BUT OF HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD.

 Beloved, we hear all kinds of teachings on what they say is the word of God, some are, but some of it is mans interjecting humor things to impress people and that's okay to a point, but don't forget that God's word stands on its own and carries great  power.
Paul said, Preach the word. 
2 Timothy 4: 2-5
Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season.  Convince, rebuke, exhort with longsuffering and teaching.

 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

 Beloved, there is a time and place for everything, but God's house is to reverence the Lord and to provide His word out there so it will change lives.

 My prayer is, that the Holy Spirit will ignite a new fire in the people of God and that they will come out of the world and all it has to offer.

 Ask yourself, what you are putting in your mind. 
Our mind is like a computer and it stores all that we see and hear.  
Make certain yours is hearing Father's voice through His word.

 Beloved, don't be lukewarm, ask the Holy Spirit for a fresh new fire in your soul for the things of God.
Be the church and bring Jesus into view, let His love and truth come through you!

JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us. God's word is a light unto our path.  Psalms 119:104-105 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
