KEEPING YOUR EYES ON THE MINISTRY AND DOING GOOD, YET NOT FOCUSED ON THE LORD JESUS.

WE CAN SO EASILY GET SIDE TRACKED, AND LIKE THE EARLY CHURCH, LOOSE OUR FIRST LOVE, THAT IS JESUS.

Doing the work of the ministry is wonderful, but don't forget the object of that ministry.  

It is not about you and what you are doing, it is ALL about Jesus and what He has done for us on that cross.

I believe this time of being at home with family, that God has allowed this thing to happen so we will get our priorities straight. Family, Church, Our job.

God made family first. We are His family, so our focus should be on family. 

The Lord has a sense of humor, we need to get our laughter back, and joy of the Lord in all we do.

It looks like we are in the place of the loveless church, or I should say we were, because God certainly has been dealing with us all to get in order.

Revelation 2: 2-7
"I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil.  And you have tested those who say that they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;  and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and have not become weary.
"Nevertheless I have this against you. , that you have left your first love.  
Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your 
lampstand from its place-unless you repent.

But this you have, that you hate the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Beloved, we must get back to our first love, It is Jesus and all He has done for us, and in us that matters.

We need to focus once again on the cross, He paid it all.  He doesn't appreciate when we try to add to His work and love that He poured out to us, when He was crucified. (It is finished)

Some of us are too busy with church work, we need to step back and take a hard look at what it means to be a disciple of Jesus! 
Loving Him, following Him, going out of our way to meet a need of another.

Church work should be an overflow of the love we have for Jesus, He should always come first, AND WHEN HE DOES, CHURCH WORK IS A JOY.

JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us.
