A TIME TO GET OUR PERSPECTIVE RIGHT ACCORDING TO GOD'S WORD.

IT IS EASY TO GET CAUGHT OFF GUARD WHEN WE ARE SERVING THE LORD.  WE START OUT WITH THE RIGHT MOTIVES, 

 BUT SLOWLY ( LIKE A  SNAKE) THE ENEMY WILL POINT OUT HOW GREAT YOU ARE DOING, THEN PRIDE ENTERS, AND SOON AFTER THAT, OUR EYES ARE OFF OF GOD'S PLAN AND ONTO OUR OWN PLANS. (SELF)

 Proverbs 16:18
Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.

 As soon as your focus is on yourself and what you have accomplished ( only through the Lord working) you will forget you are dependent on the Holy Spirit in all areas of your life.
It is He who does the lasting work of the kingdom of God in us.

 Never take credit for what the Holy Spirit is doing in your life.  We are nothing without God.

 Proverbs 16:9
A man's heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.

 Lust for power, recognition, is a trap that the enemy sets up.
He knows our weak spots and goes after them.
Just as he did Eve, telling her when she eats of the tree of good and evil she will be like God. (focus on self trapped her)
She already was like God, made in His image.

 It is time while we are at the stay at home time, to get the right perspective of our life in Jesus. 

 Does our life measure up to the word of God of what a disciple should be? 
Do we make the effort to leave everything else and spend time with our lover and friend Jesus?

 Are we preoccupied with the world, and what is next on its agenda?

 Is our love tank filled to overflowing? So as to pour out on others? 

 We all have been given gifts from the Lord, it is time to use them. 
Listen for the Lord's direction and refocus on His plan.

Sometimes our good intentions get in the Lord's way, we jump into something too soon, and all because we want to please the Lord, and show others that we are faithful servants.  (God keeps the records, not man)

 We must learn to wait and hear God say I want you to do this or that. 

 Those of us who have received Jesus into our life, have a message to share, our pulpit is our life lived in front of the world.

 Psalm 119 :165
Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.

 Great peace will be present in God's timing and will for you.

 Do you want to know God's will?  It is found in His word.

 Matthew 6:1
"Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them.  Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.

 Beloved, take an inventory of your life, does it measure up to the rest, peace and joy Jesus provides for us, or are you frustrated because you have bit off more than you can chew?

 Read these scriptures and see if there needs to be an adjustment made in your thinking and attitude.

 I have to do this daily, it is a good habit to get into.
Oh how special is our prayer-time, where we see clearer and our perspective measures up to the word of God.

JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us. God's word is a light unto our path.  Psalms 119:104-105 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
