When we are willing to wait for something or someone, it is a sign that we trust God.
As we are waiting on the Lord, we must be about Father's business.
We do, whatever He puts before us, and we have hope in our heart, because we know God is faithful.
Psalm 40:1-3
I waited patiently for the Lord, and He inclined to me, And heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth- Praise to our God; many will see and fear, And will trust in the Lord.
That horrible pit of depression, unbelief, fear, doubt, anxiousness, anger, pride.
Wait on the Lord, means to rest in His care while you are going about His business.
He set our feet on the solid Rock, Christ Jesus. He is our Rock. The same Rock that was with Moses in the wilderness.
The answer is already on the way, as soon as we pray and rest in the Lord, knowing His timing will be perfect.
Do not get in a hurry or you could miss the best God has for you. He plans our steps.
Remember, Satan pushes, the Holy Spirit gently leads.
Be willing to wait for the best, and God will do the rest.
Resting in Jesus reveals that you have a heart of faith in God.
Mary and Joseph had to wait for the perfect timing and place for Jesus to be born in order to fulfill all the prophecies about the Savior's birth that are written in the bible.
He had to be born in the cave where the sacrificial lambs were kept.
He was wrapped in the same cloths the little lambs were wrapped in, swaddling cloths.
What a great sign from heaven that the Savior was here, on earth dressed in human flesh.
As we get ready to celebrate the birth of our Savior, remember those that will be alone, and that are sick, go and love on them, invite them to your home, show the love of Jesus, be the church to them.
We are called Christians, that means Christ-like!
God Bless your day
