He came from heaven and became flesh, and lived among us

Think of the awesomeness of that fact. The God who created the earth, came to us, to redeem us, so that He could present us back to the Father.

 John 1:9-14
That was the true light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.  He came to His own, ( the Jews) and His own did not receive Him, But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name; 
who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

 14. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

 Beloved, remember who Jesus is, His Hebrew name is Yeshua, Greek name is Jesus, in the New King James version of the bible, He is called Immanuel  (meaning: God with us) Matthew 1:23.

 He is king of kings and Lord of Lords. We sing and celebrate His birth this time of year, worshiping Him and being so grateful that He came and took all our sins on Himself.

 Have you ever wondered if Jesus, as He was growing up, did He know who He was, and where He came from? 

 Well He did, at 12 years old in the temple, He said He must be about His Father's business. 

 Jesus and His family had gone up to the feast, and Jesus stayed behind. His parents realized He was missing and went looking for Him. Jesus was in the temple teaching.

 Luke 2:49
And He said to them, "why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?"

 People in the temple were astonished at the understanding and answers that Jesus gave them.

 Yes, Jesus knew as a child who He was. 

 Beloved, as we celebrate our Lord coming to us, Remember how much He loves you, He may not like some of what we do, but His love for us never changes.

 Thank Jesus for the gift of life, and thank Him for His sacrifice on our behalf.

 He is coming again soon to get His bride, keep your candle lit bright and always have extra oil,  to continue burning bright. 

 The oil represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit in your life.

 He is no longer a babe in a manger, He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us.
