The question is, are we to judge people or the things they do?

We hear all the time, we should not judge, this is true to a point.

We are not to be fault finding, being critical, looking for wrong doing.
If we see wrongdoing, remember from where we came from, before Jesus saved us and after salvation when we were just babes in the Lord.

Matthew 7: 1
"Judge not, that you be not judged.  For what judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

In other words you are setting yourself up for the very trial that you are judging, with a critical spirit or attitude.

We can judge a situation, without being critical and prideful, thinking that we have it all together, because none of us do, and we won't until we see Jesus face to face.

1 Corinthians 2:14-16
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him;  nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.

For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?"
But we have the mind of Christ.

Beloved, if we have the Holy Spirit operating in our life, we will have the mind of Christ, when we are filled with the Holy Spirit and full of God's word, to evaluate, and discern, and yes, judge matters, and situations, as it says, "all things" but, God will judge the people.

We can judge what is right or wrong, that is necessary.

How else would we know how to pray and for what we should pray for?

Never rush into a situation until you have prayed to get the mind of Christ first.
Remember, Satan pushes the Holy Spirit gently leads.

I hear people share things that need prayer, and they immediately say, "now I am not judging."

They have to be told, that there are places in the word of God that tells us we can judge, discern, and evaluate certain things.

We should always examine ourselves, to make certain we are in the faith.

1 Corinthians 11:31
For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.

1 John 2:1
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin.  And if anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

Beloved, Jesus is our lawyer, He stands up for us, so be kind, compassionate and understanding with others, do not be critical or mean spirited, do not be judgmental.

God Bless your day
Jesus loves you
