Does your wick need trimming, so that your light will shine brighter?

We can get so busy in the worlds traditions, that we forget to spend quality time with our Lord.

 This will cause our wick to get smoky and dull where you can barely see the light shinning. The wick needs trimming!

 When we hold offences in our heart, that will dull our light. When we become critical and mean spirited, that will dull our light. When we hold unforgivness in our heart, that can cause us to have a dull light.

 Matthew 25: 1-7
"Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.  "And at midnight a cry was heard; Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him! "Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.

Five of the virgins were prepared to meet the bridegroom, five were not prepared or equipped to meet Him!

 Beloved, keep the oil of the Holy Spirit in your vessel.  Be ready at all times, keep your light shining bright.

 Wicks can only burn so long and then they need to be trimmed. 

 This is the place that we are discipled and set on track once again. The old is cut away and new has come up. 

 Let the Holy Spirit trim your wick and keep you burning bright. 
He is the extra oil that is needed to shine bright.

 We are the light of the world, so we must stay shining bright so the world can see Jesus.
Search your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to show you, if it is time to trim your wick.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. Just speaking His name, we inhale YAH and exhale WEH.   YHWH means breath of life. Our Jewish brothers and sisters know the name of God means breath of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
