Our logical reasoning verses the Holy Spirit leading.

God gave us a mind to use and sometimes we believe our logical reasoning is of the Lord, when it is not.
If that were true, then, why are we told to renew our mind in the word of God.

Our mind can pick up things of this world and it can pollute our thinking. We start agreeing with the world instead of listening to the Spirit of God.


We need to wash our minds with the word of God. God's word is alive and powerful, as we read it we are partaking of Jesus Himself, as He is the living word.

James 1:2-4
My Brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, (is that logical, to be happy that you have to go through something unpleasant? (of course not)
knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect (mature) and complete, lacking nothing.

Sometimes our logical decision may not be Holy Spirit led decisions.  Things that seem to be good, may not be of God for you.
If it is of God, it will have addition and multiplication. In other words, it should prosper in every area of your life.

There are many voices out there in the world, trying to deceive God's children, trying to lead them to make wrong decisions, conceived by their fleshly mind, joining in on the worlds reasoning. Be care, beloved,  and follow God's word.

Some of those voices may even make sense, but they are not of God.
When we choose to follow the Lord and His word it may go counter to the logic that we have, follow Jesus and obey His word and there will be fruit from it.

Romans 8:12-14
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Isaiah 55:11
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;  It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Does that seem logical to you, that God's word is far more important than you believe, it is alive and active, it moves and carries power to change your thinking, into the mind of the Holy Spirit.
That reading words on a page of paper written by the Holy Spirit,  it is alive,  it changes hearts and minds, and changes lives.

Beloved, do not neglect reading God's word, it is your life breath, you are breathing in Jesus's life into you.

Jesus said, "man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."

Follow the Holy Spirit's leading, it may not make sense now, but it will later, and you will be praising God.

JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. GOD'S LOVE LETTER TO HIS CHILDREN. PART 2

Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us. God's word is a light unto our path.  Psalms 119:104-105 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. God's word is rest for the weary, when we have not obeyed the word of God, we will become weary, anxious, and fearful, when we choose to do our own thing instead of what God tells us to do.
