Is your mission overtaking your realtionship with our Lord Jesus?

The relationship with our Lord should be first and foremost. Out of our close relationship comes our mission to win the lost, and to be fruitful.

We can get busy doing the work of the Lord, and not include Him in it.
We need the close relationship with Jesus, in order to be truly effective.

Definition of relationship : A state of being connected by blood. (We are in Jesus)
A close connection between people formed by emotional bonds and interactions, these bonds often grow and are strengthened by mutual experience.

A relationship must be nurtured. Spiritual food from God's word. This will nourish  our soul. Singing praises to the Lord, prayer, just talking to God about our concerns.

It clears our mind of things that are not from God.  It controls our emotions, ( one of  attributes of fruit of the Spirit is self-control, Galatians 5:22)) and it connects our will with the will of the Lord.

Remember that Jesus came to do for us what we could not do for our selves.

Romans 5:8-9
But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, having been now justified (Just as though we had never sinned) by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

John 6:40
"And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day."

Zephaniah 3:17 (An older song we use to sing in church)
The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save, He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

Don't you love the fact that God sings over us? Remember Jesus sang a hymn at the Passover celebration, before He went to the cross.

Ephesians 2: 4-7
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses made us alive together with Christ (For by grace you have been saved) and raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
that in the ages to come He might show exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Beloved, we cannot get closer than that. We are connected to Jesus our Lord and therefore we must remember to draw near to Him. He is first. (Our kin)

He's not to put on a to do list, He is connected to our heart and life, so spend quality time with Him. Then your mission will be anointed of God and will bear fruit.
Have a relationship, not a Sunday religion, He longs to hear from you. Prayers will draw you close to our Father in Jesus name.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
