The soil of our heart must be fertile, in order to produce a harvest.

Good healthy soil has been tilled, weeded, watered and fertilized. God has the Holy Spirit break up clods, He also does the weeding.


We need to break up our fallow ground.  That is ground that was once useful, but now through lack of care has gotten hardened, and dry full of clods and now is no longer useful.

It is time to break up that ground that once was fertile and useful.  We tend to get complacent, use to the same routine, day after day, so we set out to amuse ourselves.
Take our eyes off of the important things for our day.

Hosea 10:12
 Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap mercy; Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord until He comes to rain righteousness on you.

Signs of fallow ground.

A Lack of interest for the things of God.
A Lack of prayer and praises to our God.
A Lack of love for those hurting.
A Lack of a desire to get into God's word and let Him speak to you.
A Lack  desiring fellowship with other believers.
A Lack of love for lost souls.
When you have allowed a critical spirit to control your mind it will cause your soil to dry up.

Time for the plow.  The bible says that Judah will plow.  Judah means praise.
Hosea 10:11-12
Ephraim is a trained heifer that loves the thresh grain; But I harnessed her fair neck, I will make Ephraim pull the plow; Judah shall plow; Jacob will break his clods."
Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He rains righteousness on you.


Start praising the Lord and watch what will happen to your attitude. See how it will stir up your hunger for the things of God once again.

Let the high praises of God plow your ground. Getting it ready for the rain of God.  The water of His word.

Beloved, don't allow the soil of your heart to get dry and hard.
Praise the Lord often and keep the soil plowed, Read God's word whether you feel like it or not, its not about feelings, it is about us needing spiritual food daily.

If you see any of these signs in your life, that are causing hard heartedness, start Praising God, get that ground plowed. Get it ready for the seeds of life!

JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us.
