The battle is the Lord's, He told us to trust in Him and rest.

I hear so much about how we must fight our battles, beloved, Jesus is fighting our battles, He said His yolk is easy and His burden light.

We pray, yes, but we do not give the enemy of our soul so much credit. JESUS IS LORD!

Sometimes our worse enemy is our own mind.  We believe people's teaching about warfare, because we think we need to add to the word of God.   Not so, God's word stands forever and is complete.

Psalm 103:20
Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word. Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His please.  Bless the Lord, all His works, in all places of His dominion.  Bless the Lord, O my soul!

You see beloved, when the angels of God hear the word of God coming from us, they go into action, the fight is the Lord's, it is up to us to know who we are in Christ and to be filled with the word of God, so that it will come forth from our mouth.

Let's look at the scripture that tells us about spiritual warfare.

Ephesians 6:10-18
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.  (not your own) .
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we  do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age. (The age of the early church)
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth. (Jesus is truth, His word is truth) having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
( We have the righteousness of Christ) Having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. (Are you ready to share the good news of Jesus Christ?)

Above all taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darks of the wicked one. (We have all been given a measure of faith, and that measure will grow when we hear the word of God) It is our shield.
And take the helmet of salvation, (we are saved by the blood of Jesus, we have salvation) and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, (We have the word of God to pray and speak to anything we run into not of God) praying always with all supplication in the Spirit, ( The Holy Spirit knows how to pray through us the perfect will of God) being watchful to this end with perseverance and supplication for all the saints. ( We are to have each other's back)

It is not complicated, God made it easy through Paul's words to us. If you are a active Christian in your faith, you already have all that is mentioned here.

It is a great reminder of what we have and who we are.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
