Things we Christians ought to be.

If we follow all of the things we ought to be, we would be so joyful and content as God's word works transformation in us.

1.  We are to be kind to each other and those around us.
Ephesians 4:32
And be kind to one another tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

2. We are to be merciful.
Luke 6:36
"Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

3.  We are to be doers of the word.
James 1:22
But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

4. We are to be thankful.
Psalm 100:4
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise, be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.

5.  We are to be strong.
Ephesians 6:10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

6.  We are to be steadfast.
1Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

7.  We are to be holy. (separated unto the Lord)
1Peter 1:15-16
but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all of your conduct, because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy.

8. We are to be ready witnesses to give an answer of the hope we have.
1Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.

9.  We are to be an example to others.
1Timothy 4:12
Let no man despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in the spirit, in faith, in purity.

10.  We are to be fruitful, and increasing in the knowledge of the Lord.
Colossians 1:10
That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

11. We are to be ready for the Lords return.
Matthew 24:44
Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
12. We are to be givers of God's love.
John 3:16
For God so loved that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

There is so much more that we are to be, but this is a good start.

Beloved, if we will be all that we are to be in Jesus, we will be ready, and have good conduct, and we will be the witness that others need, to reveal Jesus and His love and forgiveness for them.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. Just speaking His name, we inhale YAH and exhale WEH.   YHWH means breath of life. Our Jewish brothers and sisters know the name of God means breath of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
