Jesus had a divine appointment, to do the very thing He was brought to the earth to do, save us.

It's not about eggs, unless we are thinking of the egg in Mary's body.  The one that would develop into the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit.

Easter eggs are fun for the kids, but they need to learn what Easter is about, more than candy and eggs. It is the time we can tell the kids, God created the chicken and the chicken gives us eggs.

Families and friends are making plans to be together, and share a meal, and love on each other for this great celebration of our Lord's resurrection from the dead.

As we approach Friday, its called good Friday, but when I see the suffering our Lord went through I cannot call it good.

The only good is, that He took on all world's sin and disease on Himself, because He loves us. This was His mission on the earth and to show us what the Father is like.

John 14:7-11
"If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also, and from now on you know Him and have seen Him."  Phillip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us"
Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me Phillip?  He who has seen Me has seen the Father, so how can you say, "Show us the Father.
Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? 
The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority, but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

Jesus did His best to make the disciples understand His mission.  They had such a hard time believing, even though they had seen miracle after miracle.  Even when Jesus was dying on the cross, the only disciple there was John.

The rest were hiding behind closed doors for fear of their life, except Peter He did follow the soldiers who took Jesus and saw what had occurred.
He did deny Jesus three times out of fear.

They didn't realize resurrection was coming, even though Jesus told them over and over that He would rise from the dead.

It is hard for me to comprehend that disciples could not believe, after all they saw with their own eyes and tasted the food provided supernaturally.

Jesus would meet His divine appointment and fulfill His mission on the earth.

Think about this Easter  how it can bring healing, understanding, for us all.
Jesus Christ, the same Yesterday, today and forever.

He hasn't changed, His power is still available to those who will believe Him and follow Him.

Philippians 2:8
And being found in appearance as a man.  He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Beloved, He did it all for you and me. Remember what Easter (Resurrection Day is really all about, Jesus.

JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us.
