Idle words make an entrance for the devil, to open up your mind and an entrance to his workshop

Idle words that we may speak are, useless, unproductive, careless, cruel, with no thought how it will effect others.

Matthew 12:35-36 (Jesus speaking)
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and a evil out of the evil treasures brings forth evil things.
But I say to you that every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.  For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
We need to ask ourselves, would love speak this way? God who lives inside of us is love.
We need to speak those things that produce life to one another and see the Holy Spirit do the great work in our hearts, as we learn to apply God's word and speak it forth with love and boldness.

Ephesians 3: 12
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

When the enemy places a negative thought in our mind, we are to cast it down, do not entertain the thought or speak it out of our mouth,  because instead of speaking life and encouragement, we will speak hurt and death.

2Corinthians 10:5
casting down arguments and every high  thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Jesus has given us His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, so that we can live righteously, we cannot do this alone, we need the help of the Holy Spirit to work with us and through us.
He is there with us just waiting to be asked and invited into your thinking.

Beloved, whatever we place in our mind, will eventually come out of our mouth.  Guard your thoughts and whatever you do, if your thoughts are negative, do not speak them out.

Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice!  Let your gentleness be known to all men.  The Lord is at hand.  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and  supplication with thanks giving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are of a good report, if there is  any virtue, anything, praiseworthy-meditate on these things.

Guard your mind, better yet, fill your mind with the word of God and good will flow out of your mouth. Our speech will change and bring blessing if we will be obedient to the word of God.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us.
