Faith and works go together, you will not find one without the other.

Faith isn't something you think about, it is something you speak out of your mouth, and reveal by what you  do.

Romans 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith is active, alive and powerful. We gain faith by hearing God's word, over and over again.
We may think, Oh I have heard that before, but have you really heard what it is saying?
Do you really believe that God will do what He says?
It does take a while before that word really sinks down deep in our heart.  We hear it with our ears, and it goes into our mind, and renews our reasoning, but it takes time to go into our heart. To live it out.
Hearing the same message over and over will give it life, and we will act upon it.

Jesus often repeated His messages, and He also repeated names to make a point.  We just do not get it at first, we have to continually put the word of God in our hearing.

Hebrew 11:1
Now faith (today's faith) is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

James 2:17-18
Thus faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works."  Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Grow your faith, seek to know God in a greater way, Know that He longs to reward you for your faith in Him. Faith is just simple trust in all God says and does.

He is the one who gives us the measure of faith. We know that measure can and does grow and become stronger as we exercise it.  Thus, faith and works go together.

Beloved, spend time in God's word and build-up your faith. Know that when you speak out God's words, angels move on your behalf.

Psalm 103:20-22
Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word.  Heeding the voice of His word.
Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
Bless the Lord, all His works, in all places of His dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

You see beloved, God expects faith and works to go together, even the angels do His works, by heeding His word, angels move on our behalf.  Notice the word of God has a voice!
Speak out God's word, memorize it, there is great power in the spoken word.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
