Coming from the wilderness into the springs of living water.

We don't look forward to the wilderness experience.  It is dry and hot and we can do nothing to help ourselves there.

Nothing to ease our suffering or anguish, or our confusion and hurt.

But the wilderness is the place where we have shut out everyone, there is only God.
He's waiting to meet with us in dry places of our soul.

He has living water for us after our experience of dryness.

Our dry times will drive us to salvation.  That's the place where we know we need to be saved and receive Jesus as Lord.
We feel undone and need to surrender to the Lord. We need to be saved.
He alone will quench our thirst with living water.

John 7:38
"He who believes in Me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow living water."

After we are saved there are many experiences we will encounter, the wilderness being one of them.

When we have our wilderness experience it will cause our spiritual ears to open, and make us to  hear from the Lord through His word and His gift of life.

The wilderness is the place where we will have to totally depend on the Lord. There is no other help, not from friends or family or the environment.  Only Jesus is there.

While Jesus was on this earth, He knew where to get His help. He would go into the wilderness and talk to His Father.
Luke 5:16
So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.

Jesus knew where and when to withdraw to the wilderness to gain strength and hear from the Father.
Sometimes we are driven there by circumstances in life.

We should know that when we are in the wilderness experience of life that Father is waiting to speak to us.
To reveal things to us that we are blinded to. He will open our understanding, give us direction and place hope in our heart once again.

Isaiah 58:11
The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones.  You shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

Living water is flowing and moving, it is not stagnant, and still.
Keep moving forward in the Lord.
Living water will create life wherever it flows. (Think on this)

Beloved, embrace your wilderness experience, we are not to fear it, but know that Father is waiting for us, to speak with us, as we reach out to Him in prayer.

We will all go through our wilderness, that is the place where we grow up in the Lord.  Our weakness is now turned to strength!

God bless your day
Jesus loves you

Yes, this speaks so much to my heart as I have been here for the last year and a half and now God is leading me out of it. I was watching something the other day regarding the book by John Bevere, God, Where are You?. In it he talked about the Wilderness as a place of preparation for us, that God is using it to prepare us for what's to come. It's amazing how the Holy Spirit speaks to us in multiple ways regarding what we need to learn!
