We are learning daily, to be more patient with ourselves and others.
Let us be patient and not waver in our hope, enduring until the end.
We want everything to be instant. Instant food, coffee, instant answers, yet we do not consider the fact that as we wait we learn to be more patient for things and with people, we are building our hope and hope does not disappoint.
1Thessalonians 1: 2-3
We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father.
James 1:2-4
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect (mature) and complete, lacking nothing.
The word patient or patience means: to never give up, never quit, we will not surrender, hold your ground, keep your position. Endure!
The early church was under great persecution, and they were being told to endure until the end. Stay faithful to the Lord and hold their ground.
Beloved, we too, in the last days must be patient as we wait for the Lord's return.
We must not compromise with whatever the world system is, and certainly not the culture of the world.
Hold your ground and be faithful to the end.
Measure everything with the word of God, do not compromise your beliefs, no matter who decides to compromise to gain favor with man, make certain you do not compromise.
As we are patient with others, and ourselves, we will have a joy and thanksgiving in our heart, that we are staying faithful to our faith in Jesus Christ. We are standing in the strength of the Lord who lives in us through the Holy Spirit, and who loves us dearly.
Learn to be patient in your prayers, God will answer you, He over-answers our prayers, the answer is always far more than we expected or asked for. That's how love works.
So learn to be patient in your circumstances, with people and yourself, God is always working things for your best interests. As we demonstrate patience, we will grow in our trust in the Lord.
God bless your day
