Trusting Jesus as He has the Holy Spirit do His work in us.

Are there things in your life that you need to let go of, so that God can replace them with something better?

Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that He who begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Please note that it is He who is doing the work in us.  We cooperate with the Holy Spirit, and allow Him free reign to move in our life.

Philippians 2:12-15
Therefore, my beloved, as you always obeyed not in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and do His good pleasure.
Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.

We can only work out what God has already worked into us.
As we cooperate with the Holy Spirit, we are able then to show the goodness of God that He has placed into our soul. We can now show mercy, love, compassion for others that need to see and feel the goodness of God.  We have received Jesus Christ our Lord, and all that He is  already being developed in our new nature.

So make a point of not holding onto things in this life too tight, God wants to replace them with something better.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. Just speaking His name, we inhale YAH and exhale WEH.   YHWH means breath of life. Our Jewish brothers and sisters know the name of God means breath of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!!  YOU ARE NOT TO COMMAND HIM,  YOU ARE TO ASK HIM, HONOR HIM, AND RESPECT HIM AND HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.  I have heard some believers young in their faith and understanding, say that they have prayed for such a thing and God will give it to them.
