The abundance of the grace of God
Do we fully understand the abundance of the grace of God in our life?
Grace (unmerited favor) has been given to us in abundance. However, just because we have abundance of grace does not give us a free reign to live in sin.
This grace of God, through Jesus Christ our Lord, has given us the right to reign in this life. Grace is received through faith. We must believe that grace is there to draw on when we have no more answers in the natural. Set your mind on heavenly things.
Roman 5:15-19
But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the One Man Jesus Christ abounded to many. And the gift is not like the that which came through the one who sinned. (Adam) For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.
Justification means: just as though you had never sinned.
That's the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
For if by one man's offence death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in this life through the One, Jesus Christ.
Therefore, as through the one man's offence judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by One Man's obedience many will be made righteous. (Righteous: to be in right standing with God)
You cannot earn grace, you don't deserve grace, it is the gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Beloved, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, and He made us righteous. He clothed us in His righteousness. We are highly favored with all we need to live in this grace that was provided for us.
God expects us as His born again children to reign in this life, right now, here on the earth. We have the authority, we need to use it. Know who you are and what you have as a child of God.
In the Holy Spirit we have all we need. So if there is something that you need according to God's word, just ask! You have not, because you have asked not!
God Bless your day
