Jesus comes to us where we live, He loves us as we are.

Our hearts are God's birth place and our lives are His home.

Have you ever wondered why God takes us just as we are?
It is because, He wants to place His nature in us.  He has already made us in His image, but through sin, our character and nature was marred.

The very character of Jesus is being formed in us.

God formed us (Genesis 1:26) "Let us make man in our image"

Sin deformed us ( Romans 3:23) "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Human knowledge reforms us ( Proverbs 14 :12) There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of it leads to death."

Christ transforms us (Romans 5:1) Being justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."

The Word of God conforms us. (2Timothy 3:16) All scripture is God breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness."

The trouble with human knowledge is that it will change and not be stable, it is fickle and new ideas from the world creep in.

Let God's word conform you into His very nature. It is a choice we make, wanting to spend time in God's word. We can use the word reprogram us, to thinking as believers our Father's thoughts of love for all humanity.

To be trained in the righteousness of God will take some time, but so worth the training process.  It seems difficult at first to concentrate and meditate on God's word, but if we ask the Holy Spirit, who is our Teacher, He will reveal to us what we do not understand.

God knows everything about us, nothing is ever hid from Him.  Yet He loves us enough to leave heaven and die in our place in order to redeem us back from the sin nature.
Now through the Holy Spirit He has placed the very nature of God in us, when we first received and believed in Him.

Colossians 2:6-9
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the traditions of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Like the song says, "just as I am without one plea, but that thy blood was shed for me."

Beloved, realize the gift of all God has done for us, Love Jesus, serve Jesus with a heart of thanksgiving.

Colossians 2: 13-15
And you, being dead in your trespasses and the un-circumcision of your flesh.  He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all your trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us.  And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over  them in it.

Yes, Beloved, He takes us just as we are and He does a work in us to transform our lives in order for us to live a righteous life of love and forgiveness that reflects our Lord's nature.

God bless your day
Jesus loves you
