A Hearing heart, and a listening ear
DO YOU HAVE A HEARING HEART AND A LISTENING EAR?
In order for you to have a hearing heart, you must get quiet and listen for the voice of the Holy Spirit to speak to you, just what Jesus has to say.
His sheep hear His voice.
Our heart and mind must get quiet and really listen to what the Lord wants to say.
Which direction shall we go, or what needs change in our circumstances.
The word listen, and silent, have the same letters, yet they convey a different meaning.
But we must keep silent in order to hear and really listen to what the Lord is saying to us. For us to listen with our heart, we must be silent.
Isaiah 50:4-5 ( About Jesus)
"The Lord God has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned.
The Lord God has opened My ear; And I was not rebellious, not did I turn away.
Since we have inherited all that Jesus has, we too are given a hearing ear, we too can speak a word in season to one who is weary. All we have to do is listen to the voice of the Spirit of God and follow in obedience.
Proverbs 16:9
A man's heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.
Proverbs 1:33
But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And be secure, without fear of evil."
Jeremiah 24:7
Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.
God Bless your day
