WHAT ARE THE WORKS OF THE LORD?

 There are many different kinds of works of the Lord in God's word.

But there is one main one that leads to all the others.

John 6:27-29

"Do not labor for food that perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him."

Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?"

Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent"

You see Beloved, the greatest works is to believe in Jesus.

Our trust and faith in Jesus will activate our faith for all the other works.

When we believe, we will be obedient to God's word, and our faith will be activated to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit speak to us.

1Peter 1:13-14

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance.

Isaiah 1:19

If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.

So our true works come after we receive the Lord. Having faith in Jesus is the most important works.

Then we will find out which gifts God has bestowed on us in order to do all the other works.

Gifts that will further the kingdom of God. That will bless God and us.

Hold on loved ones, there is a great shaking taking place. 

This will reveal who is real and who is not. What is of God, and what is not.

When Paul and Silas were praising God in the prison, a great shaking took place. (Acts 16:25-26)

At the darkest hour, there was a great shaking while they were praising and praying to God,

So that everyone's chains were broken off of them.

God has to shake things up, so that our chains will be broken off of us. Chains that we are not aware of. 

We all have them as no one is perfect.

Some are addictions to food, drink, media, any activity that comes before the Lord.

Depending on that instead of trusting on the Holy Spirit's leading.

Jesus made it clear what obedience is.

Luke 6:46

"But why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and not do the things which I say?

Beloved, obedience is very important in our Christian life. 

Yes, Beloved, our greatest works is to believe in Jesus.

Everything else will follow our faith in Him.

When we have faith in our Lord, everything else will fall into place. That situation that we are concerned with, God will take care of it.

Philippians 2:12-13

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; For it is God who works in you both to will and do for His good pleasure.

We can only work out what we have put in.

So fill up with the word of God, and when you speak, there will be life coming out of your mouth. As we feed on God's word, it becomes life to us. Grace and mercy and compassion should be spoken out loud.

James 1:25

But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Beloved, yes there are many different kinds of works for us to do.

My understanding is that true Biblical belief cannot be divorced from Biblical action!

The line that stuck out was "Hold on loved ones, there is a great shaking taking place. This will reveal who is real and who is not. What is of God, and what is not." Yes. That is the heart of it in these times. Who will be faithful? Who REALLY ARE *disciples*

THERE IS A CONNECTION BETWEEN FORGIVENESS, ENVY AND SIN IN THE HEALING OF OUR BODY.

MANY CHRISTIAN'S HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THEIR HEALING, BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO FORGIVE. OUR HEALING OF MIND AND BODY ARE DEEPLY CONNECTED, JESUS SAID SO. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us. God's word is a light unto our path.  Psalms 119:104-105 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. God's word is rest for the weary, when we have not obeyed the word of God, we will become weary, anxious, and fearful, when we choose to do our own thing instead of what God tells us to do.
