ARE WE PREPARED TO LET GO OF THIS OLD WORLD?

Our preparation process seems like God is quiet, and not answering our prayers. 

God allows us to go through times of emptying us out of everything that hinders our growth and progress.

Gen 37-1-25 Read the whole story.

Joseph told his brothers his dreams and caused  great jealousy with them.

Was he bragging? or was he sharing?

As you can see by reading the story, it was all set in God's plan.  

It looked bad, but God knew what He would do in Josephs life.

How about your life since you have received Jesus? Are you just religious, or do you have a relationship with the Lord, like Joseph did?

Beloved, Jesus will come just as He said that He would.

Be prepared at all times.

1Corinthians 15:51-52

Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

When we prepare for something, we have to make certain that everything we will need is in place.

In this case, all we will be leaving with is extra oil in our lamps, and the only clothes will be our clothes of righteousness. We are to hunger and thirst for righteousness. (Matthew 5:6)

What is just, good and right.

We will leave all other things behind.

Ask yourself, is your hearts affections in the right place?

We will put on the coat of righteousness, that's our clothing. Our righteous acts here on earth.

Revelation 19:6-8

And I heard as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters  and the sound of mighty thundering's, saying "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

"Let us be glad and rejoice AND GIVE HIM GLORY, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Picture this in your mind. This great event in heaven.

If you have God's approval, why do you need peoples approval? Keep your eyes on the Lord, He will come for us sooner than we think.

It's only His approval that matters.

Beloved, we can take nothing with us except the souls we have won for Jesus.

We must hold things lightly. Be prepared to let go of all things.

Know God's plan for you and know Jesus who is doing the planning.

It is the Holy Spirit who guides us to the plan God has for us.

I wrote a song years ago that said it all. Here's a few lines.

"Prepare my heart O' God for what's ahead of me, prepare my heart O 'God to know the plan you see" 

You get the idea that we are to know the plan God's sees. It is all in His word. As the Holy Spirit guides us to that plan, we will see victory at the end. 

Like Joseph did after he was stripped of all pride and self reliance. When sold as a slave, he had nothing of his own, that's where we need to be, ready to let go of all things.

Beloved, stay prepared at all times, things happen we never expected to happen, that where trusting God comes in.
