THE CHURCH NEEDS REVIVAL, PERSONAL AND CORPORATE. A WAKE-UP CALL FOR ALL BELIEVERS. PART 2

Revival begins in our heart.  There will be a longing for God's presence and goodness to manifest. God will allow us to come to the end of ourselves, so that we will realize that we need personal revival. Ask yourself, "What would I do if all media was cut off?   Would I complain, murr-murr and be upset and unsettled? Or would I go to the word of God where I would find comfort and peace? When we feel disconnected and alone, that is when we need to go to Jesus.  He will never leave nor forsake us. Like He told Joshua. Joshua 1:5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.  I will not not leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with what you have.  For He Himself has said " I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we may boldly say; "The lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" Beloved, we need to focus on God's ...

THE CHURCH NEEDS RIVIVAL, PERSONAL AND CORPORATE. A WAKE UP CALL FOR ALL BELIEVERS IN JESUS. PART 1

To revive   something, that means it was alive. (revive is to make alive)  to recover, restore, to return to the standard of God. To rejuvenate after there has been stagnation. Since the world is dead without Jesus and faith in Him, then revival is not for the world, but for the church. There's a great move of God through out the world. That is an awakening.  That is not revival. It is the church that needs a revival because it is a living entity.  It was alive to start with, alive in Jesus. until it became complacent, comfortable, and unfruitful, taking on the ways of the world. Revelation 3:1 "These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars; "I know your works, that you have name that you are alive, but you are dead. Beloved, pray for revival in God's church. We see millions of people in the world receiving salvation and being baptized.  They will need a church that is alive with the Holy Spirit of God to disciple them. To hear the wo...

HAS GOD GIVEN US A WINDOW OF AN OPORTUITY, OF SOME TIME TO REPENT AND OBEY HIS WORD?

My bible says that God chooses who He puts in authority as leaders. Good or bad. Romans 13:1-2 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities.  For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. I believe that we are seeing that the Lord is giving us, the body of Christ, His church, time to repent and get things in order for His return. Revelation 2:2-5 " I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil.  And you have tested those who say  they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and have NOT become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Beloved, can you see that busyness in doing ministry for the kingdom is good to a point, but when busyness robs you of time with Jesus, it is not good.  With Jesus is where we get wisdom, strength, ...

UNCOMFORTABLE AND BEING FRUITFUL, OR COMFORTABLE AND BEING COMPLACENT. PART 2

We see in 1st Timothy that he had to come out of his comfort zone to be leader of the church in Ephesus. 1 Timothy 1:3-5 As I urge you when I went to Macedonia- remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. We find Paul well advanced in his years here. He leaves young Timothy in charge of the church at Ephesus, that has had some real problems. 1Timothy 1:18-20 This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, having faith and good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck, of whom are Hymenaeus  and Alexander , who I delivered to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme. You see Beloved, who has the authority over Satan after the resurrection.  We believers do. He can be used like a w...

UNCOMFORTABLE AND BEING FRUITFUL, OR COMFORTABLE AND BEING COMPLACENT. PART 1

Are we to be comfortable in our walk with Jesus? NO! Zephaniah 1:12-13 And it shall come to pass of that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, And punish the men who are settled in complacency. Who say in their heart, The Lord will not do good, nor will He do evil. Therefore their goods shall become booty, And their houses a desolation; they shall build houses, but not inhabit them, They shall plant vineyards, but not drink their wine. What a great warning to those who fall into complacency, being self satisfied. Being comfortable is providing physical ease and relaxation, that is free from stress or anxiety and fear. Being comfortable is not the same as being comforted.  God comforts us when we are stressed out, or grieving, He doesn't do that, so that we can sit back and be comfortable.  He comforts us so that we can move forward and do what He has called us to do.  He doesn't  do that, so  that we can be lazy and unfruitful. We as believers will...
