THE BEAUTY OF SPRING TIME.
As we watch the trees turn green again, and watch the birds looking for a place to nest, we are reminded of the beauty in life that God has provided for us.
Song of Solomon 2:11-12
For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in the land.
There is a time when all the plants look dead.
As the season changes, new life will appear.
Just like those old dead things in our life. When we have allowed bitterness and discouragement to set in and take root. BUT GOD!!
Those old dead things will be pruned away and beautiful new growth will take it's place.
The Holy Spirit will convict us of our righteousness in Jesus. This places hope back into our heart.
Nothing is hopeless when you are in Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Proverbs 23:18
For surely there is a hereafter, and your hope will not be cut off.
2Peter 3:15-16
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, and meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.
God always gives us grace and time to release all the old dead things.
Things that would have held us back. These must be pruned.
It will seem as though God is distant and silent in our times of winter. Everything looks cold and bear.
Beloved, God is always working behind the scenes, preparing our Springtime with all it's blessings and beauty.
He is working behind the scenes preparing new life. New relationships, and new wisdom, more fruit of the Spirit.
New growth in the Lord. New vision to see God's plan to bring blessings into our life and unto those we will share Gods love with.
The Holy Spirit will show us ways to avoid stumbling blocks that are meant to delay or discourage us.
I am looking out of my living room window, how everything is coming to life. It is resurrection time.
Like with Jesus, they thought that He was dead, and He was for a season. Little did they know that it was all part of God's plan. Resurrection day is coming!
The redemption of man was provided through Jesus dying on that cross, to give us new life.
Beloved, be expectant of God's good things that He will provide in this new season.
I am watching all my beautiful trees blowing in the wind.
The Lord spoke to my heart, "Do you see how hard the wind is blowing? Well that will cause the roots to go down deeper".
The stronger the storm winds in our life, the deeper our faith will be rooted and grounded.
God will use our storms to cause our roots to go down deeper. That will strengthen us in His love.
Ephesians 3:16-17
that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
Don't complain or murmur when you are in the stormy trials, because change is taking place. Your faith is growing and you will see the goodness of God.
Be patient and you will see what He has planned for you.
James 1:2-4
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
Beloved, that says it all. It will take patience to trust and believe all that God has placed in your heart for your new season.
Celebrate our Lord Jesus, and always give Him first place in your life.
Have a blessed Easter.
God bless your day
Jesus loves you
