Is your spiritual tank full and overflowing?

While filling up my car with gas I felt that we need to be spiritually filled and topped off.

It is so important that we keep ourselves full of God's word, and his presence in our life.

It is life, health ,strength, and full of the promises of God.

John 6:63

It is the Spirit who gives life;  the flesh profits nothing.  the words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

We don't worship the bible but we do worship the God of the bible.  Our life's manual.  Our instruction book.  Everything we need to know while living on this earth are in those pages.

Ephesians 3:14-21

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ,  from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  that he would grant you, according to His riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;  that you being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length, and depth and height- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge;  that you may be FILLED with ALL the fullness of God.

How will we know all that God has given to us if we don't know God's word?

God's word says that we are to be filled with fruits of righteousness.

Philippians 1:9-11

And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment,  that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ,  being filled with fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ to the glory of God.

Beloved,  we must keep our spiritual tanks filled at all times.

That way the Holy Spirit can draw it out of us at the right time to bless and minister to others.

We all have our own opinions, but it is God's faith filled words that carry life and healing.  This causes transformation and change in others lives as well as our own life.

If you started out your day with the worship of God and studying His word,  then you have much to offer, life to share,  then the Holy Spirit will lead you to the one God desires to reach.  Usually someone that has been prayed for and whose heart is ready to receive.

That person will tell you that what you said is exactly what they needed to hear for that day.  

I have had this happen many times.

Beloved, if our spiritual tank get low, we will become weak. If we fill up with other things, and forget to fill up for the day, we have little to offer anyone in need. And we will not see the results we expected to see or hear.

Colossians 1:9-14

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him,

being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God,  strengthen with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy.

Beloved, give the Holy Spirit something that He can draw out of you.  He longs to work in you and through you.

Look at the life of Jesus,  that is our measuring stick.  He went out of His way to reach one certain soul that was in bondage.

Are we willing to do as Jesus did?  Then we are His disciples. Disciples grow and keep learning more and more of God's way of doing things.  They hear the direction of the Holy Spirit and follow.

Beloved, is your spiritual tank full?  Have you made a way to spend quality time with the Lord?

The worlds junk will deter you from the better things that God has for you.  Turn off all that distracts you from the things of the Lord.

Time to fill up!!

Yes, I have found this true in my own life. When I take time each day to study God’s word and pray even if only for a few minutes, I am filled up to overflowing and can help others that he sets on my path rather than feeling overwhelmed and negative.

Filling up daily with the word of God and the presence of the Lord is so important. Father help us every day to spend quality time with you and Holy Spirit teach us lead us and guide us and direct us this very day and every day to the hearts and souls you want us to touch for Your Kingdom Father God. Help us to check our tanks daily and make sure we’re filled with overflowing to touch hearts and souls for Jesus!

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
