Are you setting your heart and mind to fully understand the things of God?

 When we set our mind and heart on Jesus, things begin to change in our favor.

Daniel 10:12 (An angel sent to Daniel)

Then he said to me, do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you SET YOUR HEART TO UNDERSTAND, AND TO HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE GOD, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.

Daniel received help to understand his vision.

His words were heard and God sent His messenger.

Colossians 3:1-4

If you then were raised with Christ, seek those things above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God.

SET YOUR MIND ON THINGS ABOVE, NOT ON THINGS ON THE EARTH.

For you died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.  When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

When you set your mind on things above, you are remembering all the things Jesus has spoken in His word and you act upon them in faith.

Have faith in what Jesus has said and in due time you will see change in your favor.

Colossians 2:1-3

For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all the riches of the full assurance of UNDERSTANDING, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ.


Beloved it is so important to God that you fully understand. When you understand, not just read God's word, but make an effort to understand what you have read, then you will be able to set your heart and mind for change in your life.

Psalm 14:2

The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men.  To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.

God is looking for those who are setting their heart and mind to understand the wisdom He has given us through His Spirit.

One of my favorite prayers chapter 1 verses 15-21 of Ephesians.

Ephesians 1:18

The eyes of YOUR UNDERSTANDING being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

Beloved.

as you can see through God's word that it is very important that you understand. 

When you understand you will see change as God's word is healing every thing in our life.

A child does not gain understanding until a thing is repeated over and over, then it finally gets through and they now understand.

We are God's children and we need to hear over and over until we do understand. Set your heart!

Each day, God’s word is fresh and new to me, as I always tend to see and understand a bit more or learn something new that I didn’t know or understand before.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
