Darkness is only a setting for the glory of God's light to come.

Light shines the brightest in the darkest places.

Think about this, if we are the light of the world as Jesus says we are, then in the darkest places we should shine the brightest. Right?

Beloved, do you realize that in the spirit world Satan sees us coming and flees?  When we truly know who we are in Christ, and follow the Lord, standing firm on the word of God, the enemy will be terrified of our presence.

He knows if we are true followers in Jesus or just religious.

Remember the sons of Sceva? The priest and his sons.
Acts 19:11-16
Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them. 
Then some of the itinerate Jewish exorcist took it upon themselves to call on the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying "we exorcise you by the Jesus Paul preaches." and there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish, chief priest, who did so.

And the evil spirit answered  and said "Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you?"  Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, over-powered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of the house naked and wounded.

Yes, evil spirits know if you are a true believer in the Lord.
For they see our light.

Matthew 5:14
You are the light of the world.  A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Are you a city on a hill?  Do people know you love them and that your light is to draw them to The great light of Jesus Christ?

When the enemy realizes that he cannot intimidate you and deceive you and deter you, because you know who you are in Christ, and that you have the power over him, he will flee.

James 4:7
Therefore submit to God.  Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Beloved, be that great light that shines in the darkest places, and know who you are in Christ, be bold and firm, yet kind to others.
Reveal to them the very nature of Jesus and show them the Fathers love. Be the light of His glory.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
