Are there thorns in your nest? Something uncomfortable is happening, trust God!
Are you ready to leave the comfortable nest and try your wings and fly,
Grow more in the Lord, see things from His point of view?
Lessons from a mother eagle.
The mother eagle will make such a comfortable nest for her young. She gathers branches with thorns, places over the top of bigger branches, then she will put smaller branches with leaves, and last she fills the nest with soft warm feathers.
In order for the eaglet's to learn to fly, mother has to start taking the nest apart, little by little she will remove some of the comfort they are so use to.
Sound familiar?
God makes it very comfortable for His children, but when it is time for a big change in their life, He begins to remove some of the familiar comfortable things in our life. There will be thorns in our nest! Uncomfortable.
When the mother eagle starts removing the soft feathers and gets down to the leaves, then the eaglet's realize something is changing. It is not so comfortable anymore.
Finally they get down to the thorns, and its time to leave the nest, mother wants them to learn to fly.
She forces them out of their nest and she flies under them, until they get the idea how to flap their wings and fly. They are always protected.
God does the same with us. We think what is happening, why all the changes and where am I going, What is happening?
2Corinthians 4:17-18
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Beloved, if things are changing in your circumstances and you are unsure what is happening, this is when you learn to fly, trust God, His big hand is under you, so that you will know you are safe.
God will not leave you on your own, it just feels like that.
This will take a stretching of your faith, new growth in your faith, trusting God no matter what it may look like. God will not fail you. He loves you.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Don't panic when God begins to move things and people around in your life. Trust!
He is about to bring new people in your life and more spiritual growth in you.
God bless your day
