WHO RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD? PART 2

To sin, is to miss the mark of holiness. Sin is anything not pleasing to God. Praise God for His grace   and mercy.  That does not give us a license to sin, and by listening and watching the worlds junk we will take into our spirit lies and deception. I no longer have a connected TV, and it is so peaceful in my house.  Easier to hear the Lord speak to my spirit. Psalms 101:2-4  I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh when will you come to me.  I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me. I will not know wickedness. Beloved, respect the fact that the Lord in all His goodness lives inside of us. Jesus said "My Father and I will make our abode in you" When you watch things that are wicked, or ungodly, you are taking God to see it also. It will cause you to fall away. You will be grieving the Holy Spirit. Watching or listening, to things we know will c...

WHO RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD? PART 1.

The bible says the Father raised Jesus from the dead. Galatians 1:1 Paul, and apostle not from man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead. John 2:19  Jesus raised Himself from the dead. Jesus answered, " Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up" John 10:18 "No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself,  I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it again.  "This command I have received from My Father." 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit. Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus  from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through the Spirit who dwells in you. You see by God's  word that the Godhead raised Jesus from the dead. All were involved. Beloved, study your bible as it was gi...

WE ARE TO REJOICE WHEN WE ENTER HARD TRIALS OF SUFFERING.

Are we willing to suffer for our faith in Jesus Christ? The word,  pathema is suffer in the Greek.  It means, to experience hardship, affliction, or pain. Have we died to self, and have we accepted our trial of suffering? 1 Peter 4:16-17 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first what will be the end of those who do not obey the Gospel of God? Beloved, we can not faith talk our way out of a trial that is meant to strengthen us.  We can say, "never the less, not my will but God's be done. When we gave our life to Jesus, we are no longer our own. He owns us, loves us and will see us through our suffering. Think of what Jesus suffered so that we can have life, salvation and healing. Would I rather have a miracle instead of a hard trial? of course I would.  What if your trial is in order to reach those people that God ...

ARE YOU BEARING FRUIT, AFTER YOUR PRUNING SEASON IS OVER?

Our pruning season is over, we are starting to see new growth of fruit in our life? The meaning in the Greek for the word Fruit in the Strong's concordance. The result and effect or consequences of an action or deed. The word fruit describes results or outcome of our actions. Fruit can symbolize abundance and blessings. Fruitfulness was often associated with God's favor. John 15:5-8 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and withered; and  they gathered them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, That you bear much fruit; and so you will be My disciples. Beloved, we are to bear much fruit of all kinds. Fruit of righteousness, the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-24 But the fruit of...

WALKING ON THE ROAD TO EMMAUS WITH HEAVY HEARTS. PART 2.

Beloved, times are ahead of us, just like the disciples on the road to Emmaus. Times when we also will have a heavy heart from things that disappoint us. Times when we believed or thought we did, until our world was shattered. Do we look for Jesus at a time when He seems to not be there? He is always there. Jesus loved those disciples and wanted to teach them about Himself. Beloved, reread the account of the Road to Emmaus.  Ask the Holy Spirit to show you something you might have missed that is just for you. Something personal that will help you grow in your understanding of the account about Emmaus. Remember that these disciples only saw Jesus as a prophet.  Inviting Jesus into their house was the key to seeing Jesus as Lord.  As He broke bread with them then and only then were their eyes opened. When Jesus opened their eyes that He is the risen Lord, it changed their perspective and gave them joy and peace. They were no longer heavy hearted. They couldn't wait to get b...
