WHEN YOU RECEIVED JESUS INTO YOUR LIFE, GOD'S PLAN FOR YOU HAS NOW BEGUN.
When we were born again by God's Spirit, our heart changed and our actions should follow.
God gave us a new heart to love and follow Jesus with.
Question- Has the way you live changed since you have received Jesus as your Savior? It should have!
When we have Jesus in our heart, it should be evident how we live. Apart from the world.
1Corithians 5:17-18
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.
Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
When we are in Jesus, it should change the way we live, unattached to this world.
We do not belong to this world, our world is new and waiting for us.
The glory of that new world, we cannot perceive with our finite mind.
Since we are changed from glory to glory, here a little and there a little, we should be hungry for more of God's word.
We are not saved by our good works, we are saved to do good works.
Things that we should do:
Do you pray for the neighborhood that God has placed you in?
Do your neighbors know that you love them and are here for them, no matter what the need?
This earth is our mission field and it all starts in our neighborhood. Home first.
Hebrews 6:9-11
But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner.
For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown towards His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
For we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end.
Some are looking to pamper the flesh, while others cannot wait to share new truth that they have learned in God's word. Die daily.
Reading books about someone else's life in the Lord, can give some insight, however, their journey is not your journey.
God will reveal your journey through His word to you. Your test and trials will fit your calling, not someone else's.
1John 2: 5-6
But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. He who says he abides in
Him ought himself also walk just as He walked.
Too many believers are trying to compare their walk in Jesus, by another's calling.
YOU HAVE YOUR OWN!
Do not fill your mind with what so and so said will work, only God's word by the Holy Spirit is what works for you.
Read God's word, let it change you from inside out. God may deal with you differently than He has with others.
Your walk is personal, between you and Jesus.
As God reveals things to you by the Holy Spirit, you will change to be more like Jesus.
Remember, there are no quick fixes. The Lord gives us time to walk out what we know.
It takes time to develop in the Lord. He is loving and patient with us. As He knows our every thought and hears our every words.
Remember Thomas? Jesus came in and said Thomas place your hand here. Jesus heard every word Thomas had spoken about not believing.
(John 20:27-29) Yes beloved, God hears our every words.
We are new creatures now, God's children, His property, to do with as He wills.
Trust the Lord.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, He shall direct your paths.
Just trust the process that God brings you to, and let the Holy Spirit make those important heart changes. Learn to lean on the Lord.
God bless your day
Jesus loves you.
