IT IS A MATTER OF THE HEART, GOD CARES ABOUT OUR HEARTS CONDITION.

 We should know the condition of our heart, when it matters to God.

When preachers only quote Jeremiah 17:9-10, they leave it out of balance, as there is more from God about our heart.

Jeremiah 17:9-10

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?

I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to the fruit of his doing.

This is true, however there is another prophet later who added to what God said.

Ezekiel 36:26

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart  of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statues, and you will keep My judgements and do them. (When the Savior comes)

I have heard preachers say that this is for the Jews, yes, but don't forget that we are grafted into the Jewish vine, so that is for us believers also.

Beloved, we need to rightly divide the word of God. 

On a given subject, check out all the word of God has to say about that subject.

Proverbs 4:23

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it springs the issues of life.

HOW DO WE KEEP OUR HEARTS WITH ALL DILIGENCE?

By spending time with Jesus in prayer and feeding on His word. 

We repent quickly, when we step out of line with our mouth, that's connected to our heart.

Jesus said "out of the abundance of the heart speaks the mouth"

Think about that statement coming from our Lord.

All we have allowed to put in our mind, that goes into our heart and spills out of our mouth.

I have heard people say, "you don't know my heart" Yes we can, by what comes out of their mouth. 

Beloved, there are 4 soils of the heart that Jesus spoke of. (Matthew 13:1-9)

There is a hard heart, that is not receptive to the word of God.

A Rocky heart that is shallow, it will respond to the word of God with Joy, but will soon fall away.

Thorny heart, it cares for all the worlds desires, looking for riches and all the world has to offer.

Then there is the good ground, ground that has been tilled and nourished.  

This one hears and understands and word and becomes fruitful.

Like our human heart has 4 chambers, so our spiritual heart has 4 different soils.

When you think of how God made the human body, it is amazing.

I can remember sitting on my  porch talking to the Lord years ago. 

I heard in my spirit, stay with the new babes until they get to good ground, do not abandon them. 

Stay with them through the different stages of their growth. They still belong to Jesus.

As we read God's word it speaks of our body parts, that matches our spiritual body.

Our blood has a voice as does the word of God also has a voice. (Psalm 103:20)

Abel's blood had a voice.(Genesis 4:10)

Our God is an awesome God, He made His word easy for us to understand. That is, if we apply ourselves to understand and always ask the Holy Spirit to teach us.

Yes, beloved our heart condition matters to God, or He would not have explained the 4 soils.

So watch what you allow to go into your spirit and guard your heart. 

Cast down thoughts that are harmful. 1Corinthians 10:5

casting down arguments every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

Matthew 5:7

Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

Our new heart that we have in Jesus is full love  joy, peace, faith to sustain us.

If you want a perfect picture of the Fathers heart toward us, read the story of the prodigal son. (Luke 15:13)

WHY DOES GOD ALLOW OFFENCES TO COME INTO OUR LIFE? PART 2

How do we deal with offences that we have experienced? Proverbs 17:9 He who covers a transgression seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates friends. So, how do we deal with an offence, we cover it with the grace of God and love. Just as God does for us when we are  displeasing to Him. When we cover an offence with God's grace we overlook it and choose to give something of value to ourselves, Peace and rest for our soul. SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God.
