THE UNEXPECTED, DELAYS AND DISAPPOINTMENTS AND DETOURS.
I have learned from experience, that when we are hit with the unexpected things in this life, look for Jesus in it all.
Recently, we were hit with a hail storm, with baseball size hail. A lot of damage in or area.
As believers we know, that God controls everything in our life. If it is bad, He will bring something good out of it.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Beloved, can we thank God for all that comes into our life?
In our natural reasoning, it is hard, but in the spiritual reasoning, it is all about trusting God.
We call it faith!!
I have seen the Lord take painful losses, and hurts and bring good out of it.
Losses of life, property, family, friends.
We don't realize how much God loves us until we experience a great loss.
He is there with us all the way. It is the hard places in life that cause us to look up to our Lord Jesus.
Isaiah 57: 1-2
The righteous perishes, and no man takes it to heart; Merciful men are taken away, while no one considers That the righteous is taken away from evil. He shall enter into peace; They shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
Look at Paul's life:
From Acts 27and 28. Read it all ask the Holy Spirit to show you the hidden treasures.
It took a shipwreck to place him at the place where he could bless and heal, and share the word of the Lord.
Even a viper could not stop him, he just shook it off.
Are you shaking off the viper that is there to stop you from doing God's will?
All that viper did was prove God is greater.
When things come into our life that are unexpected, how do we respond? Do we call on the Lord?
There are things that we do not understand yet, as we learn more of the ways of the Lord, we will see His purpose and will for allowing certain painful things in our life.
God saw it all ahead of time and made provision for all our needs. Especially the emotional ones.
Don't refuse a rebuke from a friend or loved one, Be grateful that someone loves you enough to point out a correction that is needed.
We all need a rebuke at times, especially when we go off in the flesh and don't go to Jesus first.
Psalm 141:5
Let the righteous strike me; It shall be a kindness, And let him rebuke me; it shall be as excellent oil; Let my head not refuse it.
There will be unexpected delays in answered prayers, detours that we must take, in order to bless others.
Yes, there will be disappointments along the way, but God will turn them to joy and peace.
It's in the flesh that disappointments spring up, but if we will look to Jesus and not our self, we will see the Lord's answer for it all.
Never, never underestimate what God can do out of the unexpected.
Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what is to come next.
What is God going to bring out of destruction, detours and delays.
God bless your day
Jesus loves you
Love in Jesus
Joy
