BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.
When we have the mind of Christ that means that we share His purposes and plans.
Having the mind of Christ carries a great responsibility to obey Father God at all costs.
It involves humility, obedience and being merciful, being able to discern what is good and what is evil.
Philippians 2:5-6
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God did not consider it to be robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
We are to have the mind of Christ and consider ourselves servants, as Jesus was to us.
Yes, He calls us friends, but servants get the work done.
I have not seen in all four gospels where Jesus expressed fear. (1John4:18) Fear has torment.
Jesus did have anxious moments, but not fear.
When in the garden praying before the cross, His human side was troubled and anxious and sorrowful.
Being anxious is not fear, it can lead to fear if we entertain the devils lies, but being anxious is a human emotion.
We can be anxious about good things as well as bad things.
God sent His angel to minister to Jesus in His hour of need, as He was sorrowful, and troubled.
Luke 22:43
Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.
Beloved, why do we allow the mindset of this sinful world to put fear on us?
Fear enters our mind subtly, sometimes it is difficult to recognize, yet it is there. It will rob you of peace.
Fear enters in an indirect way, disguised as something good for us.
You can not analyze or describe it. We make excuses when it is there, and we call it wisdom.
Beloved, wisdom is seeing things as God sees them. In the mind of Christ there is no fear!
No excuses, only faith, truth and love.
Jesus experienced every emotion that we have. The natural emotions that He gave to us in creation.
Fear came from the enemy.
Our finite minds cannot begin to understand all that Jesus went through for us.
Think about this.
The sinless Jesus took upon Himself all the sins of the world from one generation to the next. He suffered great separation from the Father on that cross.
Every time you think of compromising with this world, remember what Jesus did for you, taking your place and taking all your sin on Himself.
He loves you that much.
We do have the mind of Christ, read in the bible all that Jesus said and did in the four Gospels, it good news.
After the resurrection He said and did many things, read about them and get a better picture in your mind of who Jesus is in your life, and what He has done and is doing for you.
To have the mind of Christ is to be willing to suffer unpleasant things in this life.
Paul knew how to be full and empty.
Philippians 4:12-13
I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Every where and in all things I have learned, both to abound and to suffer need.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Being willing, that is the key to being content.
What a precious gift we have been given, the mind of Christ and to know His plans and purpose.
We can have close fellowship with Him and we are victorious.
Rejoice, and Praise God, we can know the things that God has in store for us. Its in His word.
1Corinthians 2:9-10
"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him"
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
Believe and receive God's word of truth, Jesus is truth. He said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. It's all in Him. Jesus doesn't have truth, He is Truth.
Since we now have the mind of Christ, the Lord is rewriting our story for His glory. (Transformation is taking place)
His love never fails, He is leading us by the Holy Spirit to our destiny, which is to be with Him.
Remember beloved, Jesus said that He is coming quickly, with no warning, so be ready for His return.
It could be today, next week or next year, always be ready. The King is coming.
God bless your day
Jesus loves you

Joy
