OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S WORD IS EVIDENCE OF OUR FAITH.

Is God's grace conditional? Yes, the condition upon our believing that Jesus shed His blood to save us. WE MUST BELIEVE! That He has great love for us.

To apply God's grace to our life, we must have faith in Jesus sacrifice for us and believe that He loves us.

Romans 4:16-17

Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace,  so that the promise might be sure to all the seed,  not only to those who are of the law,  but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham,  who is the Father of us all.

That's the only condition. Believing faith.

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him,  for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

We have heard the sayings, sloppy agape and greasy grace.

Is there any truth in those statements?  Yes, in some churches.  Greasy grace calls for no repentance.  Just live like you always have.

Sloppy agape calls for no discipline.  We need repentance from time to time and we need discipline.  God's word is balanced on these issues.

Discipline is needed so that we can grow in the Lord, and experience His great love for us.

God supplies the grace needed for our Salvation, and we supply the faith to believe for Salvation.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith,  and that not off yourselves;  it is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

You cannot earn with good works, what God gives as a gift.  All we have to do is believe by faith.

When someone has a gift for you, you must receive that gift.  It is the same with God's grace, our part is to just believe and receive, that is the condition that must be met.

Our access to the Father is by the grace that Jesus has provided for us. That unmerited, undeserved favor. GRACE!

Beloved, look at our world that God has created.  Everything is in a balance.

Humans created in the image of God, all the created creatures, the cosmos, everything is balanced for our enjoyment.

Everything was created to reproduce and multiply.

We see stars form and some vanish away.  All in a balance.

Greasy grace is out of balance, for we must have repentance, Or we will drift away from the Lord.

Sloppy Agape is out of balance, we must have discipline in a balance of love.

God has made provision for us if we fall into sin,

He calls us to repent!

1John 2:1

My little children, these things I write to you, so that if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father,  Jesus Christ the righteous.

Revelation 3:2-3

"Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain,  that are ready to die,  for I have not found your works perfect before God.  Remember therefore how you have received and heard;  hold fast and repent.

Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief,  and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. (Discipline needed)

Ask yourself,  am I reading the full context when studying God's word?  Or do I pick out only those things that tickle my ears?

We want the word of God to change our heart, not tickle our ears. Search deep inside of us.

Psalm 139:23

Search me, O God, and know my heart;  Try me, and know my anxieties;  see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

Beloved, as God searches our heart He will bring to light anything that is not of His Spirit.  Pray.

2Timothy 4:2-4

Preach the word!  Be ready in season and out of season.  Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine,  but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears,  they will heap up for themselves teachers;  and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

Beloved,  God's word is so powerful, it goes even to the marrow of our bones.  It divides soul and spirit, and reveals the thoughts and intents of our heart.

The  marrow of our bones is where our blood is manufactured.  The life is in the blood.

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edge sword,  piercing even to the division of the soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Being obedient to the WORD OF GOD, is what will bring us peace, health, and joy.

Our faith is on trial for all the world to see.

The way we live and things we say and act upon, are things people outside of our faith are watching.

They want to see if we are all talk, or if we walk the walk.

Remember that measure of faith that we have been given, that will help us walk the walk and not just speak words that are empty, but speak words of life. God's words.

When God's words come forth out of our mouth and faith is behind those words, they will produce fruit.

Remember, obedience is the way we are to respond to the word of God, reading God's word increases our faith and causes it to grow more and more.

Faith is simply trusting God! Believing what He says.

God bless your day

Jesus loves you

Love in Jesus

Preach it, Sister 🙏. There must be intent on our part when it comes to Believing! Biblical belief is never divorced from action! Bless you, Mama Joy!

So true . . . our faith is on trial for all the world to see. The way we live and the things we say and act upon, are things people outside of our faith are watching. It’s so important that we spend time with Jesus and LIVE the truth of His Word . . . the world is watching.
