Not man's wisdom, but, the Holy Spirit's teaching and anointing is what brings change in a life.

 Man's wisdom is natural reasoning, the Holy Spirit has Godly reasoning.

These are total opposite of each other.  Man's reasoning is limited, God's is unlimited.

Man's wisdom is defined as the ability to use knowledge and understanding.

It is to make sound judgement  and perform a just action.  Man can know facts and good principles, and information. All natural.

1Corinthians 2:12-14

Now we have received, NOT the spirit of the world,  but the Spirit who is from God,  that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 

These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God,  for they are foolishness to him;  nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

If man's wisdom would work for us we would not need the Holy Spirit.

Man's wisdom is polluted because of sin in the world.

We need the Holy Spirit because mans wisdom goes just so far, and it will not receive the things of God. 

1Corinthians 1:19-21

For it is written:  "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,  and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."

Where is the wise?  Where is the scribe?  Where is the disputer of this age?

Has not God made foolish  the wisdom of this world?  For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

There are times when the born again child of God believes that they need to help God out.

We have seen this in ministries through the years.  They had more faith in themselves than in God.  It was their pride working. Hopefully they have changed by now.

There are wonderful things in science that have blessed mankind.  It was the leading of the Lord in them.  Man takes the credit, but it was God watching out for His creation. 

Christian scientist Huge Ross makes this clear, it is all God.

Look around you, could you create the beauty you see on the earth?

Man tries to out wit God, but he never will.

Psalm 2:1-5

Why do the nations rage,  And people plot a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and rulers take counsel together,  Against the Lord and against His Anointed,  saying, Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.

He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;  The Lord shall hold them in derision.

Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,  and displeasure:  "Yet I have set My King On My holy hill Zion."

The sooner mankind submits to his creator,  the sooner life will be different.

We see this all through the old Testament, how God's mercy shows up when they least expected it. Thats our loving heavenly Father.

Beloved, when you are filled with the Holy Spirit God gives you wisdom for the asking.

James 1:5

If any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God,  who gives to all liberally  and without reproach.

Proverbs 3:13

Happy is the man who finds wisdom,  And the man who gains understanding:

Ecclesiastes 7:19

Wisdom strengthens the wise  more than ten rulers of the city.

Beloved,  we can increase in wisdom.  Jesus did.

Luke 2:52

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor of God and men.

We can hear sermons about how we need to have wisdom, but not until we ask, will we receive it.  Sermons can help you see the need for Godly wisdom, but NOT until you ask, will you receive.

Yes,  I repeated it twice, hoping it will sink in.

Jesus did this many times in His teachings.

Godly wisdom teaches you when to speak and how to speak.  God's wisdom will usually include God's word in conversations.  

Godly wisdom understands the power that the word of God carries into a life. 

Beloved, pray daily to increase in wisdom.  You will be surprised at the difference it will make in your life and those around you.

Your plans will be God's plans.  

I have noticed through the years that God's timing is everything. 

He tests our patience and builds faith while we wait for a thing to happen.  Thank God for the answer before it comes.  Faith in action.

When we have the wisdom of God we will see things differently.  

Our understanding will be multiplied,  and we will retain more of God's word.  This will give a hunger in our life to know more and more of our Lord and His plans

Never forget God's ways are not our ways.

Some try to place God in a mold, and create cookie cuter Christians, this cannot be done. 

We are all different and have different gifts and callings.

It doesn't work to put God in a mold, because God's gifts are unlimited, as are His ways.

Beloved, are you concerned about all that is going on in the world at this time?

John 16:13

"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come,  He will guide you into all truth;  for He will not speak  on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak;  and He will tell you things to come.

Beloved, think of the words, will show you things to come.  We have an insiders view from the Holy Spirit as to what is coming for us. 

Fellowship with  the Holy Spirit, there is so much He wants to reveal to you.

So relax in the arms of Jesus and trust His word, He will come for us when the time is right, meanwhile, occupy until He comes, be busy sharing His love with others.  People need the Lord!
