WE HAVE AN AUDIENCE OF ONE TO PLEASE.

 There is only One that we are to please.  His name is Jesus. 

Being a God pleaser is more important than being a people pleaser.

Being a people pleaser will wear you out.  (Been there done that)

There are times when we take on things that have been prepared for another to do.

Our intentions are good, but not lead of the Spirit.

We cannot please everyone and do all that they expect us to do.  

Don't be concerned about what people think about you. Only what God thinks about you is what matters.

You are His beloved,  are you perfect? No. 

But you are being perfected daily.  God sees you complete in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 2:9-10

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;  and you are complete in Him who is the head of all principality and power.

Even though we fail at times, we repent, pick ourselves up and move on. Thank the Lord for His forgiveness.

People that are people pleasers, lose their time to things that could have been used to minister to the down and outers.  Running errands, being at meetings you have no leading of the Holy Spirit to be at, that's a people pleaser, because you are concerned what  people will think if I am not there?

Stop being concerned about what others think of you.  It only matters what God thinks of you!!

What others say about you, only matters when what they say glorifies the God in you.

When people speak negative about you, praise God they did it to Jesus also. You are in good company.

Matthew 5:43-45

You have heard  that it was said,  "You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy."  "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those that curse you,  do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,  that you may be sons of your Father in heaven;  for he makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good,  and sends rain on the just and the unjust.


Never allow negative things spoken about you to  shape your reactions.  Bless and do not curse.

Be angry and sin not!!  God gave us our emotions, but they are to be controlled by the Holy Spirit, if we allow it and cooperate with Him.

Romans 12:14-18

Bless those who persecute you;  bless and do not curse,  Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those that weep.  

Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble.  Do not be wise in your own opinion.

Repay no one evil for evil.  Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.

If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.

When we do what the word of God tells us to do, that obedience pleases our Lord. Be a God pleaser.

1 Thessalonians 5:15

See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone,  but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. 

We obey God's word out of a love for God, not out of duty.  

Jesus always has our best interest in mind.

People can say and do all sorts of things, but obeying God's word is what matters  and will bear fruit.

When we obey God's word we please our audience of One.

When you know you are pleasing the Lord, it will cause you to do what He asks you to do with great joy. It is an honor to serve Jesus.

We are all growing in different areas of our life in Jesus Christ.  We will receive His promises as we obey His word.

There is a condition to receive.  Things are being removed from our life.  We are being transformed daily.

Hebrews 10:36

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God,  you may receive the promise.

Our audience of One, loves to manifest His promises to us, so that we will be fully equipped to do His will. 

Remember, God's will is in His word. 

That way we can be a blessing to others.

Don't be a people pleaser, Be a God pleaser like Jesus. He loved to do all that the Father asked of Him.

Wozers!! Love this one. Thank You Holy Ghost for leading Your children to do what we are suppose to do and to have alligator skin. Help us to keep our mind focused on what Father God wants us to get involved in and do. The enemy tries to wear us down thinking we have to do and be involved in everything BUT we must have spiritual ears to hear what God wants us to do and be obedient to what He says. Oh Lord open the eyes, ears and heart of ALL Your children in this area today and see the hand of God move. In Jesus powerful name Amen

This one really spoke to me! I have tried to please people and the world, it only led to heartache and disappointment, but it mainly took my focus off of God! Thank you Joy for sharing this wisdom and the beautiful Bible verses💛🙏

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us.
