THE WORLD, THE FLESH AND THE DEVIL, PART 2
Jesus came into this world, to show us the loving nature of our Father.
He taught us to love those that are unlovable to others, yet He showed them mercy and love and compassion.
John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
"For God did not send His Son in the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Jesus came in the human fleshly body, so that we would learn we do not have to be slaves of the flesh.
We cannot cast out flesh, it must be transformed by God word. We must renew our mind. Neither can you disciple a demon. Cast it out!
God's word tells us to resist the devil and he will flee from us.
James 4:7
Therefore submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Notice that you are to submit to God first, then you will have what it takes to resist the devil.
When the devil sees that you mean business, he will flee.
As you submit to God, the Holy Spirit will impower you to resist.
The devil will try to make you remember past sins, that are washed away by the blood of Jesus.
Don't allow those thoughts to remain, quote God's word, just as Jesus did in the wilderness. He said "It is written, so you also quote God's word when you are under attack.
Remember the devil is a counterfeiter, and a liar.
He takes what God does and perverts it, lies about it and tries to ensnare you,
He use to accuse us before God, now He accuses God before us. He tries to make you doubt your faith in God. Just like he did in the temptation of Christ in the wilderness.
2Corinthians 10:4
For our weapons of our warfare are not carnal(natural) but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
When Jesus said "It is finished" at the cross, that is when He defeated the devil.
Beloved, guard your hearts from those enemies.
The world, the flesh and the devil.
Don't try to disciple or counsel a demon, cast it out, you have the authority, use it.
Mark 16:16-17
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
"And these signs will follow those who believe; In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink any thing deadly, it will by no means hurt them.
We have the blood of Jesus, His word, and the Holy Spirit, we cannot lose.
Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."
Pray the word, read it out loud, let your ears hear God's direction, comfort and peace and His promises. Believe all of God's word it is settled in heaven forever.
Keep your focus on Jesus, not your flesh or the world.
God bless your day
Jesus loves you
