IT IS TIME TO GET REAL ABOUT JESUS!

 We should not be concerned with big fancy words when sharing Jesus and His redemption.

Keep it simple, not everyone can understand big fancy words.

Matthew 18:3

Jesus said, " Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:13

But Jesus said "Let the little children come unto me, and do not forbid them;  for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Study the actions of little children, and you will see what the Lord wants from us.

Our flesh, (that old sinful nature, is how we think and feel) it wants us to allow it to have its way.  

So, it causes feelings to rise up that do not match anything of our born again spirit.

God never said that we would not feel in our flesh, He did say that we have a choice to follow our flesh or the Spirit.

As the flesh and the Spirit war against each other. 

Our flesh is ruled by our emotions and things in our mind.

Whereas the Spirit is ruled by God's word and will.

Romans 8:6

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Our flesh is not just our body, but it is how we choose to think and act.

We must renew our mind in the word of God daily so that we can control the flesh with God's word. 

Praying the word and speaking the word, so our mind can hear what God is saying.

All believers know that Jesus lives inside of them. But do they know that the Father lives in us also?  as does the Holy Spirit?

John 14:22-23

Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him,  "Lord, how is it that you will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?

Jesus answered and said, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word;  and My Father will love him,  and we will come to him and make Our home with him.

Some people just know religion, or what they have heard in church, or Sunday school, they do not have the whole picture.  

They do not know God in His fullness.

Father God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit have made their home in the born again child of God.

Our finite mind has a problem processing the fullness of God.  

But beloved, it is all in His word.  We do have the Holy Spirit who helps us process all that God is.

1Corinthians 2:9-10

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man,  The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.  For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal things of God to you, that you are not aware of.  He is our teacher and He will show you and teach you about this wonderful God we love and serve.

Beloved, make an effort to learn more and more about Jesus.  We will not know and understand it all, but we can learn new things from God's word.

The world has made up its own Jesus, but lets get into the bible and see the real Jesus.

Religion has made up its own Jesus, with pictures of Him having light brown hair, etc.

But Jesus was a Jew, most likely with dark skin, because of the hot summers in the middle east.

His heritage from His Jewish mother.

The Jesus of the bible, knew pain, rejection, anger about using His Fathers house for selling things.  Know the real Jesus of the bible, who is compassionate, and merciful, and loving and who went out of His way to reach one lost soul.

Study the book of John and see the Deity of our Lord. 

Jesus stated that His Father is greater than He, because Jesus, at the time of that statement was clothed in human flesh.  Father was not. He is Spirit.

Beloved, just be yourself in Jesus.  Be real and loving and caring. Always put yourself in the other guys shoes.  

Know what they are feeling and direct those feelings to Jesus.

Love and care for those who have gone astray from the Lord.  If one hurts we all hurt.

James 5:19

Brethren, If anyone among you wanders from the truth, someone turns him back,  let him know that he who turns a sinner from error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

Sometimes love has to be tough and by letting go of someone for a season, obey the Holy Spirit while God deals with their heart because of your prayers, God will tell you when that season is over, or on hold.

God's timing is always perfect.

Beloved, spend time learning more and more about Jesus.  As you study His words and character, you will be refreshed and love Him even more.

We won't know it all until we get to heaven, but we sure can have a better idea about who we love and serve, and that there is the fullness of God. Seek to discover that fullness, it is in His word.

remember Jesus is the grace of God, Moses gave the law, but grace and truth came in Jesus.

JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. GOD'S LOVE LETTER TO HIS CHILDREN. PART 2

Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us. God's word is a light unto our path.  Psalms 119:104-105 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. God's word is rest for the weary, when we have not obeyed the word of God, we will become weary, anxious, and fearful, when we choose to do our own thing instead of what God tells us to do.
