GOD HAS NEVER TOLERATED A MIXTURE OF HIS WORD AND THE WORLDS THINKING.

 The only way to protect yourself from the deadly mixture of today in some Christian circles, is to know God's word.

KNOW YOUR BIBLE.  Study it and let it become so much apart of you, that people see the transformation in your life. They see Jesus and His nature. That they experience his love through you.

2 Timothy 2:14-16

Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

But shun profane and idle babblings,  for they will increase to more ungodliness.

We are told by the Holy Spirit to study to show ourselves approved.

It is so easy to pick up the latest thing going around in some Christian circles. Sounds good but is deadly to our spiritual growth.

New age is sneaking into some of the churches, more and more each day. 

It is to easy to swallow the pill of new age teaching. It empowers the flesh. 

Romans 8:6

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Satan is clever, he makes it sound like God, when in fact it is poison to your soul.  

It's the same old lie he has used for centuries. A little Christianity and a little new age. (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

We are all God's creation, but we are not all God's children, UNTIL WE RECEIVE JESUS AS OUR SAVIOR.  

Then, we are adopted and become joint heirs with Jesus.

Only then we are God's children.  

New age says we are all God's children, No we are not! 

We must come to Jesus and believe in the sacrifice the Father has sent to us, then and only then, are we called the children of God.

Romans 8:14

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.

Galatians 1:6-8

I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,  which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

As God's children, we are loved, taught, and provided for.  God has made every provision that His children will ever need.

God desires that His creation will come to repentance and receive the grace of God extended to them through the blood of Jesus.

Some of the church groups, are mixing the lie with the truth and causing great confusion in the hearts of new believers.

New age places you on the throne and says you are your own god. 

Whatever you do is ok because you are calling the shots. So deadly.

The new age belief is to compromise just enough to ensnare you with their lie.  It all sounds good to your flesh.

Beloved, study God's word and don't read books or listen to teachings that pervert the word of God.

Do not allow Satan's lie to gain a hold in your life. Know God's word.

Satan's lies will hurt us and rob us of our faith in God. 

James 3:13-16

Who is wise and understanding among you?

Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.

But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.  This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthy, sensual, demonic.

For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

Always read the whole message of scripture, do not just pick out the things you like.  Get the full meaning being taught.

A good example.

One minute Jesus is telling Peter he has heard from the Father.  Later Jesus calls the words out of Peters mouth, Satan speaking.

This could bring confusion to believers, if they do not read the whole context.

The Lord was showing how something that  seems good when in fact it was from Satan.

New age teaching is the same.  It sounds good and your heart can be right, but it is poison if you take it in.

Matthew 16:16-18

Simon Peter answered and said "You are the Christ, Son of the living God."  Jesus answered and said to him, " Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood had not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.  " and I say to you that you Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

(Jesus is speaking of the revelation of Him being the Christ) The church will be built on this truth.  Not on Peter as some have said.

Matthew 21-23

From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and the chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.

Then Peter took Jesus aside and began to rebuke Him, saying "far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"

But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me Satan!  You are an offence to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."

This is a great example of How easy it was for Peter a disciple of Jesus to listen to the enemy and speak words contrary to Gods words.

Beloved, New Age teaching  does the same in some churches today.

Jesus warned us that there will be a great falling away,  and we are seeing it.

Can you discern the truth from error?

Be alert and vigilant, 

Know what you believe that is from God's word.  That is our measuring stick of truth.

Learn to recognize truth from error.

Some of the biggest ministries on TV, and the internet, are teaching the mixture, they may not realize that they are ensnared,  and effecting others lives with the mixture.

Pray for them all, to realize what they are putting out on the airwaves. Pray that God will humble them, as pride is evident in some.

Compare what you hear with God's word, if it is not found there, Do not listen to it.

Remember God has never tolerated a mixture!

Be thankful that you have the truth and listen to the Holy Spirit, through the word of God.
