What exactly is the abundant life that Jesus has given to us?

 Jesus told us in His word, that He has given us abundant life.

John 10:10

"The thief does not come except to steal, and kill, and destroy.  I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it MORE abundantly.

The abundant life is abounding in the fullness of joy, for the body soul and spirit.

When we are joyful, our emotions will be positive, happy,  our mind will be content.

There will be no place for a spirit of heaviness.

The abundant life is active and genuine, vigorous, and devoted to God.

In the Hebrew abundance is:

exceedingly, very high, beyond measure, far more, then what we would expect or anticipate.

Jesus promised a life far better than we could imagine.  Fullness to overflowing.

Beloved, realize the goodness of God.  He wants you to enjoy your life in Him.

Will there be testing's and trials?  Oh yes!  But in those things we can experience joy.

James 1:2-4

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

Beloved, Jesus wants us to enjoy laughter that bubbles up in our spirit because of the joy that is there. That great joy from the love of God inside of us.

John 15:11

"These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

Jesus demonstrated this in the story of the prodigal son returning to his father.

There was a party, feast, dancing, singing, and rejoicing, lots of music. (Luke 15:13-25)

Psalm 98:4-6

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;  Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.  Sing to the Lord with harp,  With the harp and sound of a Psalm, with trumpets and sound a horn;  Shout joyfully before the Lord, the King.

Jesus wants us to enjoy our life in Him, within the boundaries of His word.

Proverbs 17:22

A merry heart does good like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones. 

If you ever feel down and out of sorts, just start singing to the Lord, praise Him and I promise you that your spirit will be lifted up.

God created us with laughter, singing, dancing, after all we are made in his image.  God sings.

Zephaniah 3:17

The Lord your God in your midst,  The Mighty One, will save;  He will rejoice over you with gladness,  He will quiet you with His love,  He will rejoice over you with singing."

So Beloved, stop spending your time looking and at world and all that is going on.  

Look to Jesus and sing and rejoice, He is coming sooner than we think.

So live the abundant life, sing more often, dance, and worship the King of Kings.  Focus on Him and not this old messed up world.

Enjoy your abundant life to the fullest now!

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
