New year and new beginnings, more grace and mercy.

 Praise God that He has enough mercy and grace for a new year.

1Peter 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

We have to remember that all our days are in the Lords hands.  

God loves His children and has already gone before us and prepared our way.

Even as the children of Israel were headed into captivity, He gave them a scripture with hope.

Jerimiah 29:11-12

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Then you will call on Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.


Many believers quote this verse but they do not realize that it was given to children of Israel as they were headed into bondage.

When we look at our life from God's point of view, it doesn't matter what bondage we find ourselves in, God has good planned for us.

Sometimes that bondage is a time of learning to die to our flesh. (That old sinful nature)

The more we die to the flesh, the more we will reflect the nature of our Lord Jesus.

Ezekiel 11:19

Then I will give them one heart, I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh.

It is not very comfortable for us, when God starts revealing to us that some of that stony flesh has to go.  Bad attitudes, and fleshly thoughts, pride, unforgiveness that creeps in and cause us to respond in the wrong way.

Ezekiel 36:26

I will give them a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Beloved, it is time to stretch and grow in this new year that God has given us. Time to draw closer to Jesus than ever before. He is coming sooner than we think. In an hour you think not!

Philippians 4:22-24

that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Philippians 3:13-14

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

We are to always move forward in our life in Jesus.

Beloved, as you start your new year, make certain that  you spend quality time feeding on God's word, it is health to all your flesh. Its alive and it will strengthen you as you put it in your mind and let it drop down into your heart.

We are to renew our mind.  With all that is going on in the world, we need a good washing of the water in the word.

Beloved, enjoy the new year, and remember we are only here for a short time and we need to make the most of our days revealing Gods love and the very nature of Jesus.

As the world turns darker, our lights will shine brighter. Let your light so shine.

Happy New Year!! And may tHis word sink deep in our hearts and grow like never before. Lord more of you this year and less of me. Excited to see all God has in store this year for all of us. God bless all of you and may His light shine bright through us.

Love the comment about Jeremiah 29:11-12. Never knew about the Lord's timing with this verse from his Love of the Israelites. May we keep ALL of these verses in our hearts during this New Year🙏💛😇

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
