The word of God and the power it has to make a difference in our life.

 The word of God is life giving.

John 6:63

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.  The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Beloved, If we only understood the importance of God's word in our daily lives, we would devour it.

We would make time for it to renew our mind.

It is our Spiritual food for our soul. It renews our mind, and balances out our emotions, and reveals to us God's perfect will.

God's word is truth. (John 17:17)

Do you desire to  grow in your faith? 

Romans 10:17

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Hearing the same thing over and over again)

We see that the word of God is life, truth and builds up our faith, it is health to all our flesh.

Proverbs 4:20-23

My son, give attention to my words;  Incline your ear to my sayings;  do not let them depart from your eyes;  Keep then in the midst of your heart;  For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.  Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.


There are 66 books of the bible.  39 in the old testament and 27 in the New testament. 

Written by  over 40 authors all directed by the Holy Spirit, who is the true author.

It has been written through men of all walks of life.

Kings, prophets, fishermen, educated and non educated. 

God is not particular as to who He uses to get His message on the earth.

All we will ever need to know about our God and Savior are in those pages of that Holy book.

We see God's plan for our life and the Love and care He has for us. Father sent Jesus to redeem us, and you can find Jesus or His nature in every book of the bible.

God's word is alive and ever present when spoken out.

Isaiah 55:11

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;  it shall not return to Me void.  But shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two -edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Beloved, that Word of God goes to your very bones, the marrow in your bones.

As we read the Word of God, it reads us.  

We begin to see areas that we have not committed to the Lord. We see where we have been trying to control things that only God through the Holy Spirit can take care of.

God's word is settled in heaven.

Psalm 119:89

Forever O Lord,  Your word is settled in heaven.

Angels move on our behalf when they hear the word of God from us.

Psalm 103:20

Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word.


Beloved, God's word is being compromised in some churches.  They are replacing it with secular Humanism. 

Jesus in His word preached more on Hell than heaven. We are to warn those who are drifting away from truth and draw them back to the truth of God's word, where they can find fulfillment for every area of their life.  

We knew that there would be a great falling away, but those that have a hungry heart God will send to us, so that we can speak the truth of God's word and show them that Jesus loves them.  Yes, even in their mess. He is reaching out to those who have ears to listen.

2Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, (God breathed) and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.


Beloved, treasure God's word, read it, study it, there are no mistakes only poor interpretations.

Look up words that you do not understand and see the true meaning of them. In Greek and Hebrew.

It will clarify the exact meaning and how to apply that to your life.

God's word is so precious, alive and so powerful.

Things professionals cannot understand, God through the Holy Spirit can make things of God crystal clear and  fully understood.

Learn to love God's word, and read daily.  It is your spiritual food.  As your body needs nourishment, so you soul needs spiritual food.

JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us. God's word is a light unto our path.  Psalms 119:104-105 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
